IMO Baron, AI, Nash, etc all deserve it over Roy.

i could keep going if you'd like.

Talk about facetious, considering #1 team in the West means like a 1 game lead over the other playoff teams.

all you guys are just player haters and you're jealous that your fav player isn't as popular as t-mac so you want to hate on him just cause he's more popular.

T-Mac doesn't even have to play a single regular season game and still get voted into the ASG that's how much of a baller he is.

T-MAC IS MORE BALLA THAN AI, ROY, BARON, AND PAUL.

Those guys would kill to be as BALLA as T-MAC cept they don't have it in them T-MAC is just the best.

Props to T-Mac for showing the sportsmanship to waive his spot for more deserving candidates.

Funny how that works. This is Nash's best season and Kobe isn't near what he was last year...yet most of the rationale world still thinks Kobe is better than Nash.

Nash can put those trophies on his mantle and make a bunch of instructional videos, but he'll never be as good as Bryant.

He deserves to be a All Star, but not over Bryant or Paul who are simply flat out better players.

Well the 6 guard who deserve it most, Kobe, Nash, AI, Baron, Roy and Paul can all conceivably get in if T-Mac isn't going to play.

I''m a T-Mac fan, don't get me wrong or anything, but he just doesn't deserve to be in the all star game this year.

And the fact that Nash has won two mvps should have no barring on whether or not hes an all star this year, so that point was stupid. Nash does deserve it, but not over Kobe. Look at where the Lakers are now and Kobe has half the supporting class Nash does. You give
Kobe guys of the same caliber as Marion and Amare, and the west wouldn't even be close right now.

The only way I can see Roy getting in, frankly speaking, is if there is a wealth of injuries to other players (this is assuming the coaches take both WCs as wildcards.) b/c Tmac and Kobe are starters, and Baron Nash Paul AI are all having better seasons. Even if Tmac is injured to play or gives up his starting spot (like he said he would if a more deserving player gets snubbed), there are still guys like Parker Manu Deron SJax etc.
It will look something like this (assuming no injury):
Kobe/Baron/Nash/Paul
TMac/AI
Melo
Tim/Booz/Dirk
Yao/Amare

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GIVE UP YOUR STARTING SPOT IF YOU CAN PLAY!

if that was the case then the NBA fan voting does nothing.

He said starting spot. Not all star spot. That means hed get like Paul to start and he would come off the bench.

Wrong again. Vince Carter gave his starting spot to Jordan

iverson is always overrated, but... roy, it's becoming overrated on this boards, i mean, kevin martin is much better than him, better scorer, not better passer but much more talented player.

don't cry guys, u jst should admit tmac it's a too much talented player to play this game, i mean, with him playing there mediocre guys like head or battie look much better, he is too good.

Kobe and T-Mac are locks no matter what. I have no clue why everyone is on the Portland bandwagon. Wow they won 13 games in a row against some of the worst teams in the league. And Roy doesn't even have good stats and Portland doesn't even have that good of a record.

Who deserves it the most in order
1) CP3
2) AI
3) Baron

Wow Acis, so what's your thought process for figuring out that Kobe is no where near what he was last year?

Oh Kobe averages 27 this year. Is 27 less than 31? Yes. Is it alot less? Yes. That means Kobe is alot worse.

Consider the better defense.
Consider the MUCH better team around him.
Consider his injuries.

Kobe is the best scorer in the game. Runs the 3rd best offense in the game. And is one of the best defensive swingmen.

wait I thought all star voting was hoax. Why would you bother voting when you know its fixed. Some of you ward on theories of corruption in order to justify your beliefs but then seem to ignore those corruption charges as new threads emerge.

Seriously if the NBA 'rigged the vote' to avoid having Battier and Toine start then what in your right mind thinks that you can now effect the outcome.
