there i said it

:nonono:

He's certainly not the player he once was, but he's still good for 8-10 boards and 2 blocks a game, along with good man and excellent help defense. He doesn't belong in this conversation.

Bad starters starting lineup (all players started at least 20 games):

PG - Anthony Johnson
SG - Sasha Pavlovic
SF - Quinton Ross
PF - Chuck Hayes
C - Jason Collins

You really think Q-Ross isn't a decent starter (for defensive purposes)? Why?

Kwame. No questions asked.

If Eric Snow were still starting he'd be up there (9% FG% awhile ago)

I was debating between Ross and Bowen for the SF spot. Both are overrated defenders in my opinion. I'd actually put Bowen in there over Ross but I figured I'd catch more criticism doing him than I would Ross...

Screw it, I'll give them both a pass and say Q-Rich deserves it instead, since no one will argue with that.

Kwame can't be on this list because he's filling in for Bynum. If it was last year, then I would agree with Kwame as one of the worst starters.

How about Darko? Doesn't he start?

How the hell does Jeff McInnis start for an nba team? He wouldn't even make the roster of most teams in the league.

It's the Bobcats... and he doesn't even consistently start for them.

I'd start with Marbury because he's making 20 mil this year. Jason Collins has always struck me as one of the most ineffective players out there and I agree on the Q-Rich and Hughes because both are grossly overpaid and hurt their team when they're on the floor.

Here's a prediction... in 2012 Rashard Lewis will be tops on this list at $24,000,000 with no defense, no rebounding, and at or below 40% shooting.

Rashard Lewis will not turn into Jamal Crawford.

What about Kendrick Perkins or Oberto? Oberto averages 5 ppg and 6 rebounds. Perk averages 7 ppg and 6 rebounds and he's left open most of the time he's on the floor. The thing is that he's so slow that his man can get back into position before he can make a move. Even though the Celts and Spurs are elite teams, their starting centers are pretty poor by most standards.

Once one of them starts 4 more games we can include Mark Madsen or Michael Doleac in the discussion.

Yes, yes he does. He generally starts at the point with Felton at the 2, JSwish at the 3 and Crash at the 4 since Sam V stopped starting Ryan Hollins and wont start Nazzy and Okafor.

And yes, McMinus is by FAR the worst starter in the NBA. He has a negative effect in every way when he is on the floor.

And he's all ours.

You Laker fans are crazy. It's Jeff McInnis by a LARGE margin.

What? In the entire NBA? I know SOME Laker fans love to hate on Kwame and they apparently booed him when he missed his first shot, but worst in the League? Would you rather have Jason Collins starting? Kwame doubles his output in the same minutes, shoots much better from the field AND the FT line, and plays some D.

I know your universal hierarchy goes Bynum, Kobe, God, Dragons, Kareem, but Kwame AND Luke? I wouldn't even say Luke is in the bottom half of NBA starters based on his salary, age, and output. His last game was bad, so was Kwame's.

Why do you think Kwame got WORSE after that first shot, for almost the entire game? Because his team's fans were booing him before he even had a chance to do anything!
