NetsForce wrote:I don't know Amare's offense isn't as dependent on Nash as a lot of people think sure he has to work a lot harder without Nash and when playing without Nash he's also more prone to taking stupid jumpers / three-pointers (LOL!) but he's a talented offensive player with or without Steve Nash...

well that is truei agree he is pretty special offensivly i just dont think he would get these outburst as often without Nash though ...

he certainly is capable offensivly though i believe his Career high was 50 which is pretty good ... but another thing to look at is was it before or after that major surgery

Amare was a 20 PPG scorer before Nash...

Before microfracture

He got 42 earlier this year, he's still capable, just doesn't get the consistent touches.

And I'm not exaggerating this, but Amare's quickness is now just as good as it was pre-microfracture again. He looks better then ever, and he's dunking like crazy again.

In the match-up of PG's since the game wasn't really close.....

Kidd-9 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists, 6 turnovers, 3-6
Nash-13 points, 3 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 turnovers, 5-11

Yeah Amare's 42 was nice, if I recall correctly though that was the same game where Jermaine O'neal posted a season high 30 pts on Amare on 70% shooting from the field.
