I'm kind of feeling Boston. They are the best defense in the league right now and have a hell of an attack and if they can keep fatigue from destroying them for the playoffs, playoff rotations are tighter anyway, so their relative lack of depth may not be as big an issue as some attempt to make it seem.
We'll see; they're in their first year together but they're also all vets, so I'm hoping and predicting it'll come together for them. I think their biggest test will not be the Finals but the ECFs, if they face Detroit.

I disagree because Boston will contain (at least favor to) contain Dirk over a 7-game series. Their team defense, combined with KG, Posey, even Scalabrine on him at times (who was indeed effective in his two stints last night).
Dirk's at his best when scoring well, and when he's not, there's a noticable drop off for him and the team. As displayed in the Heat and Warriors series, most recently. As well as in qtrs 1, 2, and 4 (last 4 minutes) last night against Boston (without KG).
Dallas is also largely a perimeter-oriented offensive team. They lack a consistent, impactful interior offensive player.
The Playoffs don't care about your Analytics

how are the Suns supposed to win with that interior D? they might have to deal with Duncan, who usually dominates them..Boozer would have a big series, Bynum would have a big series..they would have to avoid those 3 teams IMO and then potentially KG in the finals, if they make it that far..and add to that, their offense just doesn't seem as explosive as it was last year..
they are definitely still a team that won't be ignored, but it's difficult to pick them to win a championship..
