Harden had a very recently quit on his team moment as well...Harden’s quit had worse consequences for his team.

Enlighten me on how that's relevant to the 2018 season.

He can't there's no relevance AT ALL. Way different team and a different harden this yr

He'll definitely get it. The only race now is who'll finish 2nd place

Statement game from Harden tonight massive stat line 42/6/7 with 5-7 from three and some super clutch shots in the 4th on the road in Portland... nice.

Seeding wise this is actually a non important game, for both teams, but yeah huge performance from Harden (again). Him and CP been coasting games lately, but Lillard and CJ dinner thing certainly fired them up. I think Harden wanted to go out and put a stamp on it.

Whichever media member who doesn’t give the 1st place vote to Harden will have some explanation to do. Not as stonewall as Curry’s 73-9 season, but you bet some folk will cast differently just to “stand out and look smart”.

1. Harden 2. Anthony Davis and no amount of LBJ stat padding vs East teams will change my mind. ESPN and the rest of the media will fall in stat-padding trap of LBJ though.

It would make the MVP voting a total sham.
By the numbers, Harden is having a better regular season than Kobe Bryant ever had. Actually, he's looked better from ages 25-28 than Kobe. Blows him away in efficiency.

At this point it should be unanimous but we all know that it won't be. One positive from this is that we'll get to see who the true Harden haters are in the media.

And who the bias homers are. I'm sure LeBron will get some votes from the Ohio sports media.

omg, if LeBron comes in second that would be a travesty unlike anything we've seen in sports. Worse than 1919 BlackSox.

It's Harden and the rest are irrelevant.

Yea but Kobe was taking n making difficult shots on purpose like he was taking ridiculously hard shots n making them. That was his thing, the harder the shot the more he attempts it. If he would of actually focus on taking the easiest shot available his FG% would of been much better

Lebron with 32/6/17/1 on 58/33/90 with 0 turnovers and 1 foul.

17 assists, 0 turnovers.

I think he has garnished 2nd place outright with his play the last 2 months.

First player in NBA history to have:

30+ Pts
16+ Assists
0 Turnovers

in a game.

Lebron playing great right now but it’s a season award. You can’t take like a month off from trying and win MVP even if you are Lebron.

Harden
Davis/LeBron

I think the top 3 is pretty set right now barring some insane run by someone else. Dame was getting some love but I think LeBron has passed him due to Lillards no show last night and LeBrons dominant performance tonight. These late season national TV games make an imprint on MVP voters’ minds.
