Wow. Some of you have really been misbehaving in this thread.

It sounds like some of you are saying if it's not a recorded statistic, it didn't happen, or, it didn't affect the game.

Sound like some of you are saying the eyes are no good for measuring the game as well, or for measuring things that affect the game. Am I hearing that right? If a basketball observation can only be put into words at this point in basketball history, and not into a quantifiable statistic that has already been recorded by expert statistitions, it didn't actually happen, or doesn't affect the game? Am I hearing that right?

Does anybody here actually believe that? Or just misbehaving?

IF you do believe that, I have some questions to ask. Maybe you could reply if you're one of those people.

Anyone want to play?

Edit: Didn't think so, so you can kill the noise on that eyes don't matter crap. You know they do. They measure so much of what stats don't. Even advanced stats of today measure what stats yesterday did not. How do you account for that? Did the advanced stats of today simply have no application to the game 20 years ago because they weren't recorded at that time? Is it possible there is something additional that today's stats aren't measuring? Be honest with yourself. And stop misbehaving in what could have been an honest basketball discussion. YOU KNOW BETTER
