Good lord, three 1sts and 2 swaps?

I like Jrue Holiday, but this is not the deal that puts them over the top for a 'chip, and they have nothing else left to trade.

That's what I was thinking.....I love Jrue but I don't think he's the type of player that you literally throw every asset you have left at especially considering his injury history.

So you have Jrue, Middleton and Giannis. There's your big 3 better get it done now.

He's missed 109 games in the last 6 years and has only played more than 67 games 1 time in that span. You can basically pencil him in to miss 15-20 games per year

If that happens, this becomes a hell of a trade for the Bucks. This will nullify any of the swaps and will reassure that the 1sts will just be in the 25-30 range. That isnt bad value if this happens. It becomes franchise crushing only if Giannis walks.

when you give up that many picks in so many drafts, the chances of things not going your way increase.

this has to lead to at least a finals appearance since it will be very difficult to add more pieces.

Honestly in my opinion all this needs to do is lead to Giannis signing the Super max. If that happens the draft picks values are pretty small and the swaps become irrelevant. Who wins this trade all depends on if Jrue and Giannis resign. If both do, the Bucks will end up not giving up much to get a really good player.

Who was defending Bledsoe? We all seen what he became once the playoffs started. He cost us that raptors series and I wanted him gone after that and I am surprised we got Holiday who’s such a big upgrade!! **** the 1st rd picks I guarantee they have been talking with Giannis through this all and he isn’t going anywhere and that makes it worth it.

Partly because Jrue is hella of a mediocre "star" in the regular season. Poor shooter and below league average efficiency scoring every year of his career.

Good player but not significantly better than Bledsoe, if at all.

doesn't take that much to improve on Bledsoe last 2 playoffs...they may miss Hill tho if DD doesn't improve

Yup, they only do this if they already know Greek Freak will sign once the trade is completed.

You can be 100% sure that Greek Freak was asked for his blessing on the deal.

That said it's also worth it for NO obviously because anytime you can bet on life getting in the way you take it.

Say if Giannas even gets hurt for one of those seasons and Jrue falls off the cliff and becomes essentially a Bledsoe in quality... then they just got a lottery pick.

Good trade for both teams if Greek Freak extends.
