He’s right. AD was injured.. and Lebron wasn’t even 100%.

A fool would beleive this suns team would beat a HEALTHY lakers team.

you dont sign AD expecting him to be healthy come playoffs.
Last year was a fluke because it was a shortened season.

then there's lebron who is only in LA to shoot space jam 2.

Told y'all about these Suns. It's wild how many here didn't think they were legit threats. They can win it all they're prolly the most complete two way team in the league. Utah has a higher ranked offense but their offense isn't as dynamic or versatile as Phoenix

Their team defense when Ayton is the 5 is so deadly. Even Devin looks good enough and is trying on defense like I said here several months ago

So AD has been to the playoffs 4 times, and this season was the only one he got injured and missed games.

Other than that, solid theory.

AD has been injury prone his whole career. The Pelicans even shut him down halfway through the year in 2019 and kept him on ice for the Lakers. If you can’t recognize that fact, well I don’t know what to tell you.

The suns have yet to face a team in this playoffs with more than 1 scoring option fully healthy. Once they have to actually make multiple rotations consecutively on defense they will begin to fold. Right now to their credit they are loading up the paint and recovering with a lot of success because denver and lal really could not threaten the defense outside of 1 player. This will change vs the clippers or the nets. Their defense is good but it won’t stand up in the later rounds.

Mean like against the Jazz? The Nets are threat to the Suns, sure. The Jazz would be a food series but this team is not folding.

I don’t expect suns fans to see it, because they have never seen their team actually win anything of significance. They are beating inferior opponents and for most of the matches they have been over before the ball has been tipped. When the scales become even you will see that Suns ain’t what you think they are. The suns are even as of today 8/1 to win the title even tho they are up 2-0 and pretty safe bet to make the WCF. They are a fun story but when the title is actually on the line, they won’t be a part of it.

This is a unique situation though. He played a lot of games in Aug, then a condensed season, then rushing him back before the playoffs to try and stabilize playoff seeding. None of that helped. No doubt he has injury problems, but the Lakers (and every other team) likely would have faired better injury wise given a normal season.

Half of the teams left in the playoffs haven't won anything of significance, including the Jazz. And personally I'd rather be where the Suns are now than where the Lakers are. They've beaten every team this year aside from the Nets, including Bucks at full strength, Jazz at full strength, Philly at full strength, etc. You're quickly running out of reasons why you think the Suns would suddenly crumble in the playoffs when they have shown absolutely no signs of doing so.

no you're definitely right. chris paul faked an injury because he knew he couldn't win, and playing with one arm for three games was a dirty trick to win the series. all of that definitely makes a lot of sense

I'm not saying that but ok. Sorry to think bad about him

i mean it is what you said lol. i don't care what you think about chris paul. you can call him a whiny, flopping garbage can for all i care. but if you think he just decided to play without using his right arm for half the series because he either was afraid they couldn't win, or because it somehow gives them an advantage (which makes no sense), you have brain rot.

Exactly. Anyone that saw games 2 and 3 clearly saw that even though he was "playing" he couldn't actually play.

this^

he wasn't injured more in the playoffs cause he did not made the playoffs a lot.

that doesn't mean he is not injury prone
