I mean, not really. Booker was the only player on the Suns that had a good game, so they still weren't empty stats like so many GB posters like to say. Without Booker they lose this game by like 25.

I was glad he didn't. I like LeBron but that's exactly the type of play that the NBA has to figure out how to stop giving it's stars. I think that one was easier than some though as he basically jumped into the defender as the defender was already back on the ground.

The point being, some of these calls are right next.to each other, sometimes back to back. They'll give some guy that call, but Bron won't get that exact same call at the other end of the court. Its same kinda stuff I used to get upset about when folks were hacking SHAQ.

I agree that some of the interior no calls on LeBron are really unequal in terms of what other players get (partially offset by the fact that he gets away with a lot of contact too, but some others (Giannis for example) get away with similar and still get more calls).

The three he tried to get free throws was particularly bad in that the defender had already come down before he jumped into him. If the defender was still in the air, I suspect he would have gotten the call, but the defender had landed and seemed to have mostly checked his forward motion and then LeBron initiated the contact.

I'm not saying that the refs never give this call to the offensive player and I'd have been mad if I was a Lakers fan if a similar play had been called against them this game, but if we're going to complain about calls like this, we have to at least acknowledge when the refs get it right.
