Just an observation but why is it most of the time these unruly fans are in fact white? It's not only white fans attending these games and also courtside and not only white fans trash talking the players but why does it seem that every incident involving an out of line fan involves a white fan? Is it fans of color know there's certain things you just don't say or what?

Warned for race-baiting. These kinds of questions never go anywhere good on the General Board.

And1 to js21 for the blue type.

As to Jokeboy's point when 90% of the fans are of one race that being white the majority of the unruly drunks will be the same race.

Your kidding yourself if you think Lebron and his "familia" give 2 rips about any of the fans.

What level of income does one have to receive before they are no longer eligible for respect?

Can fans they say literally whatever they want?

you sound like one of the idiots who'd be yelling stupid nonsense cause in your mind it's ok to act like a coward because the guy makes a lot of money.

And your one of those "idiots" who thinks Lebron actually cares about the fans while you slave away at your 2 dollar an hour job

Its time to stop putting these athletes on such a high pedestal and moral high ground while 99% of them push various agendas and elevate themselves above the general populace.

Yeah just this. I think Lebron is whiny but her reaction tells me all I need to know. Please. Why does it make anyone feel cool to heckle people. If I was playing Lebron and I was any good I might try to get in his head and try to withstand the storm, but on the sidelines. Never. Just weak. Heckling on the way out. Ugghhhh they really thought they were being cool. I am not a fan of people acting in such a way.

We don’t even know what she said…lol.

I'll say this, LeBron has played 1585 NBA games, let's just say half are on the road, so 792. He's likely heckled in all those game he's also been in "lower" times when heckled than his current team/life situation. How many fans has LeBron had kicked out? Unless it's something like 500, then that means that 99% of the time LeBron is sucking it up, understanding it's part of the game, etc.

So...if LeBron is asking for and adamant about someone being kicked out, it is a pretty good assumption that they said something that is beyond the normal fan heckling, isn't it?

In my opinion that % should be precisely zero. Fans should be able to tell me him anything. Players today are so soft. At least go Meta World Peace on them and give fans a chance to get a piece of you, tough guy.

LeBron has always been the type to go crazy on the court whenever he's heckled. He loves that type of attention, so he can piss the fans off more. So yeah, this is something out of chracter,. I'm not doubting that reddit post at all. There's a line you shouldn't cross. If you're going to heckle... heckle the player. Don't get his kid into the mix. That's just **** up.,

Ive been called names and had disagreements in various lines of work all the time...can I go complain to HR and have someone "ejected" from the workplace?

Its time to come back to reality.

Athletes like Lebron as I mentioned get paid a kings ransom to play a childs game while contributing nothing of value to society except being social influencers... trash talk by paying fans is a small price to pay for being elevated as a god in society.

I didn't say it was. Hence the second paragraph.

Yeah I didn’t mean to imply you did I was agreeing with you.

I don't like the personal nature of the insults, but let's say a player shoots 45% from the line and you start razzing him from behind the basket like my buddy did Daryl Dawkins years ago. It was funny and made Dawkins shoot even worse. The funniest was when this guy starts yelling at DD that, "my grandma can shoot FT's better than you and she's dead."

You don't make remarks about a guy's kids or family. I've seen that chick who got tossed before she seems to drink a lot.

It's most likely something innocent along those lines and he threw a temper tantrum.

I find it hard to believe the people around her wouldn't be clapping when they threw her out if she was saying vile things about Bronny. Indy is known for good fans.

It's very dangerous to trust random Reddit posts like some are doing in this thread....

LeBron probably got heckled more than any players... arguably in history. Probably got some of the worst things said to him. This is the first time I've ever seen him do something like this... or if he did, I don't even remember. That's how much he ignores the heckling. So for him to do something like that, there has to be some truth to that reddit/twitter post.

This and that is different. One is within a play on the court, and the other is against fans at the sideline. The sample size is even bigger. LeBron have shown tendencies of playing dirty, he was just subtle about it. Never has he ever forced a fan to be ejected. He's only given them attention by yelling back.

Agree to disagree. I was honestly only roped into this disaster of a thread because someone posted an unverified Twitter account claiming to be fact. And now everyone and their mother is claiming the woman said that when no one has a clue

Thats not how it works in practice though. No one is getting fired over some trash talk/he said she said BS in the workplace unless it is the most EXTREME of cases that results in some type of physical action. HR loves making people "work it out" anyway. Lebron puts his binky on and the PAYING fans mind you get ejected on the spot. I have zero sympathy for cry baby bron who is on a mission to become the next big hollywood sports icon in the same vein as Kobe/Jordan.

you missed the point with the lebron video.

As far as the Kobe murals go I dont really know as I dont live in LA nor care but yeah I mean who cares about the murals at the end of the day? They could paint murals of teachers or actual influencers in the community rather than hollywood actors/icons that are so detached from reality. I think the youth would benefit from it. Kobes off-court wrap sheet was quite impressive prior to 2006/7.

Your kidding yourself if you think Lebron and his "familia" give 2 rips about any of the fans. Lebron has made it clear he an egotistical blow hard who places great emphasis on his "brand" and posting mirror selfies on IG.

no they can't. Read the terms and conditions that come with your ticket. Besides that team arenas are also often private property so you can't say and do anything you want like it's outside.

Then that shows how pampered these athletes are. I dont know what terms and conditions are on the tickets but I do know there are a few social media influencers who frequently sit courtside just to talk trash and have done so for years.
