Sue him Back to the hood?

Exactly what does that mean?

This but in reverse:

Basically, sue him into poverty.

Miles made a mistake with his mouth guard, and you made a mistake with these ignorant posts.

You both should be forgiven so long as recognize your errors and learn from the experience.

I think this is going as well as it could have. I think he should be suspended, but I'm not going to care much if he isn't.

IMO, the NBA should come down harder on this stuff than a $50K fine, unless there's medically no increased risk of contracting something from a thrown mouth piece.

It is almost as if fans and players are two different things.

Yes, we all get they are coddled, babied, live by separate rules, and get to do what they want with little consequence.

can't tell if you're talking about NBA players or white teenage girls in premium seats of an NBA playoff game

Yeah, well this one was pretty bad. How dare she get in the way of a mouthpiece being thrown!

At least he's owning up to it immediately. Well done.

Could not agree more.

It was wrong, even if she was at best friendly fire. I am sure he will make it as right as he can make it.

I am not one for coddling players, or fans for that matter...but to my understanding this is a one off kind of thing, and he has never harmed a fan before. A Fine and a very stern warning should suffice. If there was ever to be a 2.0 the punishment should be severe.

It is worth noting that is an actual crime, and if the fan truly feels harmed there is law enforcement. Liability protections would not extend to an act of hostility. A mouthpiece might get laughed out of court, but it might not.

Anyhow, I like Miles Bridges and think he was frustrated and had no intention of hitting her with his mouth guard, I am not surprised he is trying to reach out personally and make things right.

I mean, he kind of owned up to it.

His apology was "I meant to throw my germ ridden mouth guard at someone else, not you, so sorry you were there."
