Kyle Lowry has been awful in this playoffs

Heat wouldn't have grabbed the 1st seed without Lowry (and Herro) carrying G-leaguers through a brutal stretch of injuries/covid and Miami's season isn't done yet. The timing of his hamstring injury is obviously less than ideal but he can still make winning plays out there that don't show up in the boxscore. So I'll reserve judgement for now

TF? You mean guys like Duncan Robinson, Gabe Vincent, Max Strus, and Caleb Martin? Nobody carried them. It was often the other way around though. It doesn't matter where the Heat find their players. They have great scouting and coaching, so players contribute to success and get better because of it. Et cetera. You go on reserving judgment though.

He's 37 years old. He should be a locker room presence playing spot minutes, not starting. The team is clearly better with Vincent or Oladipo at the point.

lowry had a pretty good game man he was not the problem his decision making and defense lead to two runs at the end. heat shot 20% from 3 its hard to win

At the end of the day 4/12 its classic Lowry and remember hes being paid 30 million a year. No more lets think about this bs, he has been horrible these playoffs. He still has 2 years and 60 million left on his contract. OUCH

Lowry was an asset for the Heat tonight. As much as I hate his antics he could shoot 0-10 and still have a positive impact on a game. Get him some more rest next year and he'll be right back to looking normal.

Heat do need to load manage him next season tho. Hes too old to carry the load they asked him to carry this season and it showed in the playoffs

I know that CP3 and Lowry have been able to hang in there physically for years past their respective primes- credit to them, but I think their age is finally really showing and it is usually pretty quickly downhill at their age. He should really only be playing 20-25 minutes a game.

He's still a solid player, but that contract could look pretty bad next year.

Also, I know smart is a huge flopper but Lowry is just on another level to the point where he's obnoxious.

Hopefully Lowrys play was really impacted by that injury. He's still a decent player but the value for his contract could get ugly.

Nope. The Heat needed reliable scorers. Its supporting cast was godawful at putting the ball in the basket in this series, from Game 1 to Game 7. Just brutal. That is why it lost a series when it defended well, caused a million turnovers, and had the best player on the court in Games 1, 2, 6, and 7. The. Role. Players. Could. Not. Score. Especially Lowry.
