Cool, just wanted to make sure we were on the same page. When Brunson gets hammered he's flopping, when Maxey flops he's getting hammered. Now I know

If Brunson is getting hammered he should get a foul. He flops and gets them plenty of times too. That's the difference. Maxey gets his calls only through contact that has been clear. Most probably because he's only 23, and the league is just taking note. Give it a couple of years and he'll average 30 with about 8-9 fts per game.
He should get the call, but he doesn't get a superstar whistle...at least not yet. Thibs gripes about it after almost every game because there's at least a half dozen obvious whacks / shots a night that aren't called.
Not sure if refs don't give him a good whistle because he exaggerates contact, or if he started exaggerating the contact because he wasn't getting calls...it's been like this since he got here from Dallas...but Jalen doesn't get to the line nearly as much as he should. At least at this point in his career.
It's on defense where Jalen does get very floppy, cause the man has definitely sold some "charges" that were anything but

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!
