Hes only 16th in per game attempts as well at 6.5 per game. Embiid leads the league at 11.5, and him and Giannis are so far ahead of the rest of the league I don't know you can call anyone else 'high'

Take those two out, and it's a lot closer. Those two are savants when it comes to drawing contact.

lol…

another small guard in damian lillard is averaging a whopping 7 ft attempts per game.. is he a flopper also?

A guy who drives 2/3rds as much as Brunson (12.9 vs 19.5 drives per game) but gets to the line more than Jalen, a flopper? Can't be

What's even more interesting is that Maxey gets 5.4 FTA despite only driving 13.3 times a game. So floppy Jalen Brunson needs 6.2 more drives a game than Maxey (47%) to get 1.1 FTs more (20%)...

this will be the cavs series all over again. everyone think it's a battle and good matchup and all that but knicks will dog walk. even with embiid at 100% it would've been over in 6.

poor wording. brunson draws just as much contact as those two. they are just savants at getting kind whistles. it's up to the refs what calls are called, not the contact.

Embiid has a preternatural ability to draw fouls. It's not flopping he actually gets contact.

So if Lillard & Brunson are both obvious floppers, what about Maxey?

Brunson: 6.5 FTA, 19.5 drives/game (0.33 FT/drive)
Lillard: 7.0 FTA, 12.9 drives/game (0.54 FT/drive)
Maxey: 5.4 FTA, 13.3 drives/game (0.41 FT/drive)

Maxey actually doesn't. Go watch him play. Dude absolutely gets hammered and doesn't get calls. He'll probably start flopping soon because he's not though.

Cool, just wanted to make sure we were on the same page. When Brunson gets knocked to the ground or hit in the head, he's flopping, when Maxey does it he's getting hammered. Good to know :P

If Brunson is getting hammered he should get a foul. He flops and gets them plenty of times too. That's the difference. Maxey gets his calls only through contact that has been clear. Most probably because he's only 23, and the league is just taking note. Give it a couple of years and he'll average 30 with about 8-9 fts per game.

i can easily say brunson gets fouled a ton and probably should take more fts than he does and to watch him play (which he does) but you would’ve dismissed it and still called him a flopper any way.. so there’s no point

Checkers is boring and even though it's been ages since my last tournament, I still get too competitive when playing chess. Let's do Backgammon or Go instead!

I don't think he's egregious with it, like Trae or Harden was, or Embiid can be at times, but he definitely flops.

He should get the call, but he doesn't get a superstar whistle...at least not yet. Thibs gripes about it after almost every game because there's at least a half dozen obvious whacks / shots a night that aren't called.

Not sure if refs don't give him a good whistle because he exaggerates contact, or if he started exaggerating the contact because he wasn't getting calls...it's been like this since he got here from Dallas...but Jalen doesn't get to the line nearly as much as he should. At least at this point in his career.

It's on defense where Jalen does get very floppy, cause the man has definitely sold some "charges" that were anything but
