This ain't the game for midgets.

Richard Jefferson brought up a good point. They have all those picks but didn't get another big guy.

Yup. Even for a rental, it filled a need.

This was something I laughed at every night on forums, Twitter, and sports shows. People talking about how being so young and inexperienced they were. I kept reminding them that OKC is a two way dominant team with stupid energy and athleticism, while being extremely well coached.

Experience like “clutch” isn’t some magical fairy that makes or breaks a team. Basketball is about defense and offense. They are great at both and have lots of guys on the bench that can play too.

Why was this fallacy constantly repeated? Now they are still undefeated like Minny in the playoffs with mostly blowout wins.

Hey SGA fanboy, are you still laughing now?

That’s pretty dumb. SGA was the whole team

They look like they have one of the best future in the league if not the best, but yeah, maybe Presti himself underestimated this year's team. They had a legit shot, and anyone could win with a little bit of luck.

Yep. Too small, too young.

Thunder should have cashed few of their chips to go for it this year by getting help by adding a big.

In the end they lost because they were too small and too inexperienced.

14 offensive rebounds for Dallas in last game. That is too much.

Inexperience showed in 3 point shooting. I do give credit for Dallas defensive rotation which was really good in this series, but still OKC missed way too many open shots. In regular season where single game or shot doesn't mean anything they made the same shots, but in playoffs where every game and shot matters they missed. So this about handling a pressure and having earlier experience helps how to handle it.

But now they have the experience, so next year should be better. Size they need to find from somewhere else. I don't think it was a bad move not to improve this year, because now they have more data who plays well with whom and now they move the right pieces.

Young teams aren't typically set up to win because the NBA is a star driven league. It's like when people say the KD Thunder arrived too early, oh so getting experience didn't improve that young team? No dude, they just had no chance of getting another star because it's Oklahoma and they didn't wanna pay Harden.

Costly playoff inexperience last play for SGA. Could be big if they never get to this stage again (improbable but we never know what kind of moved they’ll make in the future)

OKC has a 3 year window to add some good players and win a championship before they need to pay Jalen Williams and Chet huge contracts and extend Shai to a supermax. Is the owner willing to pay to keep all of them?
