Except you've been calling everyone Masai bots for saying it's a good trade, and kept rattling on about how Masai keep giving away significant assets, unlike the Spurs. Now it's suddenly a "fine move"?

Let's maybe take the foot off the throttle for a second. The more you keep making this an aggressive stance, the less he's actually going to articulate his position, right?

Point, you don't love the trade, right? The value actually given up wasn't so bad, so your issue is more with the vision and intention it implies, would that be fair to say?

EDIT: you're tWo, yes?

That dude's not a Raptors fan, he's not going to understand tWo. There's no point to articulate. He's just another dude on the general board who hates the oversaturation of Raptors fans on this forum (understandably so), and takes his frustrations out on the team. A tale as old as RealGM.

He doesn't have to understand tWo. Let him answer for himself. His point, or absence thereof, will do the work itself. Don't position yourself for another warning when the guy will sink or swim all on his own.

I mean, if we're being honest, that's the real answer.

Just stop responding to him, man. You've seen what it gets you at this point, right? Best to just focus on more productive discourse.

He's more suited to a commercial role with NBA-Africa to be honest. Help build that thing up.

Raptors just won't rip the band-aid. They need one more Barnes and a bigger Dick literally and figuratively.

What's ripping the band-aid? Considering the team was already blown up for a rebuild last season?

Yeah they litterly have 2 playable guys who have been here more than 2.5 years...Barnes and Boucher....and Boucher won't be back.

They also have 1 guy in Yak who will be over the age of 27 next year while having 10 26 years old or under.

He has totally rebuilt the team to be very young. And next year adding BI, a healthy IQ, and a top 10 pick(possibly higher) is a nice influx of talent.

I expect a Pistons like jump up the standings. Then mote internal growth for a few years whole they try and look for another consolidation trade.

Masai has a .581 winning % over 15 years and won a championship. That is not a fluke.

I love when some Raptor "fans" aren't satisfied with the response to their whining on the Raptors board - already one of the biggest and busiest on RGM - so they come here to the General Board to air our dirty laundry for everyone else, looking for sympathy where there is of course going to be a number of Raptor haters among other fanbases.

It's pathetic and embarrassing (for you) and you guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Go leverage you mom against your dad like a proper attention seeking manipulative child. Stop making yourself and other Raptor fans on here look bad because you need affirmation from strangers online. Oh, and there is this place called X where they just love infantile posters willing to spend all their time rage farming for clicks - sounds right up your alley.

When he inherited that team they had won 34 games. He inherited an awful team.

Starting to get tired of the Masai hate threads.

Yes, he believed in the FVV/Siakam/OG/Barnes core a bit too much. He's also brought Toronto its best run in franchise history, a title with that, and has retooled our team around a 4th pick all star player with players almost all under the age of 27, with a top 5 pick incoming in supposably a super strong draft. Am I NOT supposed to be excited for Barnes making a run at all star again next year, with BI, a former all star in his prime, with other strong young players and a top 5 pick to compliment it all?

For all the advocates of bottoming out completely and tanking, I need some title winning examples to make me believe that's the only option for a franchise. We saw what happened with Philly. Houston is FAR from being close to winning anything, especially when one of the players they rely on heavily is FVV, who is not part of that core. Detroit is also not in a great spot right now. They might be winning more, but outside of Cade, who's a sure-fire star on that team to compliment him with? Is Cade even good enough to be that #1 option, SGA/Giannis/Luka/Joker type player? Ask Charlotte fans how their tank has gone? Have the Wizards found their #1 yet? Utah has to be swimming in 1st option level players, right? OKC is probably the one answer to this question, and yet their best player, the MVP candidate, wasn't even drafted by them LOL.

Minnesota just ruined their team by trading away one of their all-nba cornerstones, Dallas just ruined their franchise, Atlanta has been middling since the ECF run, Suns are in possibly the worst position I've seen from an asset standpoint, and yet people like to focus on Toronto.

Raptors are playing the field with one hand behind their backs when it comes to Basketball and Baseball at the moment.

all you can do is bring in players via trade and extend them.

if you want the Raptors to have equal opportunity, go join the "Canada as a 51st state" regime. then we don't need to worry about free agency signing when Canada becomes a state lol

Masai's strategy has always been to buy low on players.
That’s what he did trading for Ingram.
