I don't disagree there. Baylor, who was terrible, lasted in part because Sterling didn't even care to spend money for a real gm.

I hate Dolan but I'll contrast him with Sterling here. Isiah lasted so long in NY because Dolan irrationally loved the guy, and Isiah played him like a mark.

But it wasn't cheapness. Dolan did (does) want a good team. He's just a fool.
