Some people think its corny but the choke hand gesture blows my mind because of the parallels and context.

- In MSG
- Knicks Pacers
- Historic comeback in the final minute
- Reggie Miller commentating the game
- Hali even did the same thing Reggie did, passing up going for a two to run back behind the 3pt line (obviously failed by a toe length)

You'd wait another 10,000 years to see things line up like that again.

For posterity, the choke sign wasn't in the 8 pts in 9 seconds game. The choke was the previous season when Reggie scored 25 pts in the 4th in G5 of the ECF. Notably, the Knicks won that series after going down a game (2-3).

So there are many parallels but also potential bad omens for the Pacers.

It’s similar like in the series with Boston

But this time it’s game 2 for the Pacers , almost like game 7 for the Knicks

I've now seen this stat posted by three different twitter accounts, and it was different all three times. I think the first one I saw was 10-13 and showed all 13 shots with time and score (before ECF G1). It even showed a counter with each shot, to keep track of the makes and misses.

So, anyway:

1. Haliburton is really clutch.

2. The internet is untrustworthy.

3. Also, my memory is untrustworthy.

I thought it was 10-11 and now like 11-12 after "the bounce".

Anyway, it's been an insane run. He's had a much better season this season than last. He should be 3rd team All-NBA again. I don't know if the bad first month and 1/2 or 2 will hurt him. It cost him the all-star game.

By most advanced statistics he's 10 top ten, offensive advanced stats top 5. Only behind Jokic and SGA in Offensive Win Shares.

Yeah, the bounce actually wasn't in the last two minutes of the game... but then he did hit one in the OT, a layup through contact that gave them the lead. And I think the 3 he missed that Toppin put back was also in the last two minutes... It's too complicated for me right now.

It is a must win for the knicks. Coming back from 0-2 down after losing the first two at home is extraordinarily hard even if there is a gross talent imbalance between teams.

I trust you over my teenage recollection of those events. I think all the Knicks Pacers wars in the 90s just all run together in my head.

After game 1 OKC Denver and many similar events over the years, we should know by now that game 1 will not decide the series. Incredible game but Knicks are certainly capable of winning 4 out of 6. Long series.

Knicks come out like game 6 of the last series. Pacers gotta feel confident that if it’s close down the stretch they could have the edge.

my brother in christ, the pacers needed a MIRACLE, 6/6 from 3 a ridiculous shot from haliburton in which he double dribbled, a blown call on a clear goaltend and a foul reversal on OG to win this game. Good luck with your prediction.

I’m not a kid anymore and I don’t believe in MIRACLES , SANTA and Leprechauns, it wasn’t any miracle , Pacers took what Knicks allowed them to take , about fouls it was a clear shoulder grab on Obi dunk as well and refs swallowed the whistles ,game at that point should be over yet Knicks had two chances on Brunson and KAT threes at the end of overtime

It was a miracle, God is on the Pacers side and He intervened to make the ball go in over and over. The Pacers are divinely chosen to win the NBA title this year. You must begin to believe.

ridiculous lol...difference is Kawhi is good and Haliburton is, not..... Kawhi prob hits that shot 60/100, haliburton takes that same shot with mitch coming at him it prob goes in 20/100, water under the bridge, hell of a shot, we move onto game 2.

Haliburton is 11-14 to tie or take the lead in the last 2 minutes this season, and that shot isn't even included, or it would be 12-15. That's 79%.

Just saying, maybe he's good...
