Last night was an obvious travel (just as Shai's was the last game- which ironically they called Giannis on a similar hop step travel last night) but I think fans hate that the rule gives a disadvantage to Giannis because he covers so much ground with that extra half step everyone gets. He can legitimately dunk on one dribble from beyond the free throw line that most players aren't even close to. That extra 4 feet he keeps from the gather step but is a cartoon charaticture of why fans hate the way the rule is called.

Idk, less so with Shai than say Harden but I feel they are changing the goal of the game where some plays it is foul or bust. With Giannis, his ultimate goal is always to dunk the ball.

This is pretty lazy imo. If you actually watch Shai he’s always looking to put the ball in the bucket. Just in these first few games, he has a number of and 1s on drives.
