No idea what Kerr was doing resting Curry for so long in the 4th. Made no sense. They had 9 days of rest..
Good assessment:

Siakam, drafted like 27th. Projected to go in the 2nd round. Could be Finals MVP if the Raptors win it all. Amazing. He's the frontrunner for MIP as well.

Wonder if any player has won MIP and Finals MVP in the same year before.

Siakam had to go through 2 series going up against Embiid and Giannis/Lopez....his eyes light up when he sees the Warriors lack of length/size.

You got it bro.

Looking forward to Siakim going nuclear the rest of the series. Like you all are saying, nothing about tonight was unusual, so what else would we expect? Cant wait to get you guys' takes on next game's unusual supernova performance.

You a Lakers fan or a Warriors fan? I can see why you’d be salty either way, just curious? 8-)

The Raps size is a problem, Bogut could provide some help.

I don't see Boogie being able to contribute this series. He's a shell of himself offensively and a sieve defensively.

picc wrote:- Marc Gasol played the PnR to perfection on defense

- Ibaka has one of the lowest basketball IQ's in the NBA

- Siakim had the game of his life, hit circus shot after circus shot, and that will not happen again this series

- Klay had an off game, but so did Lowry offensively. These two will cancel each other out with their consistent inconsistency

- Gasol took more ownership on offense tonight than at any point prior during the playoffs, posting up, floaters, etc.

- Iguodala will be severely hampered from here on out and it might cost GS the championship

- Boogie can play effectively against Toronto, despite his low numbers tonight I liked what I saw, and he should take a larger offensive role with Durant out and the perimeter defense swarming Klay and Curry

No he doesnt

People talk about Siakam not being about to do what he did in game 1

Kawhi was 5-14 and Lowry 2-9

7-23

31%

Raptors won by double digits lmao

Kawhi worst game since 1st round
Raptors til death

The Magic were +31 in FTAs while having half as many points in the paint. It was a horribly officiated series, in your favour.

Siakam, taken 27th overall, is better than any prospect on the Lakers, who have had 3 straight years of top-2 picks to work with.

When Jerebko hit that three to cut it to a 4 point deficit in the 4th, Curry & Draymond should’ve been up and at the scorers table immediately.

Er, he was neither before the quad injury.

Just a question of how quickly he gets his legs back under him.

Given the Warriors just lost a game where their starting frontcourt got outscored *ahem* 75-18, you're going to have a very hard time convincing me that Boogie Cousins is going to make things worse.

Trying to decide whats more sad -- you thinking this would make me the slightest bit upset, or you trying to get personal because I suggested a Raptors player shooting 14/17 in a finals game would be unsustainable.

I'm leaning toward the latter. Emotionally lashing out against another posters team/players with unrelated information is pretty standard here. So you being this basic isn't really a shock. But the homerism it takes to get this rustled about what I said... which was pretty tame, all things considered... wow. Middle aged, suburban soccer moms would tell you its not that serious.

Can't wait for game 2 and your "unbiased" take on Siakim's repeat performance. 8-)

Nobody is saying that he's going to repeat 32 points on 80%+ shooting, but another 30+ point game on elite efficiency is very much within the realm of possibility.

Siakam scored on 63% TS this season, and he maintained that scoring efficiency in the first 1.5 rounds (before he ran into Embiid and Giannis).

You a Lakers fan or a Warriors fan? I can see why you’d be salty either way, just curious? 8-)

Yeah, because Ragging = Siakim will not shoot 14/17, 82% with wild circus shots again, and then responding to rabid Raptors fans who somehow, miraculously found a way to take issue with that statement.

If these guys had just been like "you're right, Siakim had an unusually flawless game and it likely wont happen again, but I'm still confident he plays well going forward", none of the last page needed to happen. I'd much rather discuss Marc Gasol's defensive brilliance, or literally anything else. Instead, they have to act like soccer moms on their period for some weird reason.

Gasol is my player of the game today. What a piece to acquire pretty nonchalantly mid season. I get what you’re saying though man..the kid had a monster game today, and lightning only very occasionally strikes twice.
