Would suggest the next thread (over 100 now) has just one vote per person with following categories given the poll is who will win:

Ben Simmons
Mitchell
Co-winners
(Filler candidates as desired)

The realgm poll options don’t ever make clear if 250 people voted for cowinners or if there were 250 Ben Simmons votes and a different 250 Mitchell votes

Simmons might miss out on another TD due to this blowout. 6/11/10/3 in 27 minutes.

I'm with Rachel Nichols, co-winners is a cop out, take a stand.

In his last ten games, Ben has averaged: 12.3/8.8/11.0. Two of those games were blowouts where he rested in the fourth. No garbage points for Ben.

Donovan Mitchell scored 26 points with five rebounds, four assists, three steals and one 3-pointer during a 119-112 win over the Mavs on Thursday.

He carried his team late with some strong drives to the hoop. Mitchell's season is in rare air all time for scoring, and his 24th 25-plus point game tonight ties LeBron James for his rookie season. Mitchell does so much more than score and he's strung together nine straight games with at least one steal and one 3-pointer.

Sorry Simmons, Mitchell is the real deal...

Why does Ben Simmons need to be sorry? And who is saying that Mitchell is not the real deal?

Mitchell is having a great season. No one is doubting that. He is also being counted on by Quin Snyder to play crazy minutes for a rookie (41 minutes against Atlanta - yes?) and take on a lot of responsibility...which he has handled well. Simmons has the luxury these days to play 10 minutes less a game (only 26 tonight), which reduces the chance to keep putting up triple doubles. But while Mitchell has to play heavy minutes just for the Jazz to make the playoffs, Brown has the luxury to cut back on Simmons’ workload while still getting a top-4 seed and homecourt.

If you were to ask Ben Simmons, he doesn’t give a damn about triple doubles or ROY - he wants to win in the playoffs.

Before tonight, Simmons had strung together 13 straight games of at least 10/5/5. The second time he has done it this season. He's strung together two streaks that no one has seen a rookie do once since 1982. (and we already know about his triple-doubles compared to rookies all time)

Less minutes at the moment means that his overall totals per game are down slightly from the start of the season, but let's face it, they are both having great seasons, Simmons is just doing more across the board.

Bam (Hell, Zizic) should be an option on the poll over Ball at this point.

His shooting last five games: 21/14/33

Ball seems to be regressing with his shooting as the season progresses. He'll need to work hard in the off-season if he wants to keep being allowed to shoot at that clip.

He has to remake his shot or he'll be gone from the league in 5 years.

Let's talk about Luke Kennard. In March, he's been posting 10/4/2 in 25 MPG on 59% TS. For the entire season, he has the highest net rating of all players on his team at +7.4, with his team being equally better on both ends of the floor with him (+/-3.7). His shooting has completely translated – albeit on relatively low usage – with his 3P% being at 41.5, his FT% at 86.5 and a strong midrange game in the high 40's.

Many Pistons fans were disappointed, at least soon into the season, for drafting Kennard and everybody else seems to have forgotten about him. He was not a shiny pick, I realize that, but I had him pegged in the 10-12 draft range last year for being what he's slowly showing to be – a valuable role player with consistent range who knows his role and plays within the system.

Most fans want their teams to shoot for the fence in the lottery but most of the players in the second half of the lottery don't pan out, and frequently struggle to become high-level role players. Kennard has the potential to become the next J.J. Redick type and such a player drafted with the 12th pick would be great value, objectively speaking, because I very much doubt that 12+ players are going to end up having a better career and more value for their respective teams than Kennard.

What is worse, his shooting or finishing around the rim. I know guys learn how to shoot but i don't know any player that has had to learn all levels of scoring as Lonzo has to. Evry rookie improved as a finisher at least.
As I sayed it he will bee a good player for another team in the league 4-5 years down the strech. To much to do in his first contract on the Lakers. One offseason wont do it.

Maybe you need to be more relaxed when you talk about basketball. I know that Simmons can be a great player too. Maybe now you can relax...
