Exactly how I feel. If we had 2 days off, I would be extremely worried. Game 7 against a rested LeBron. :o

Yea I would be feeling confident if I were a Celtics fan. Cavs in the three games have shown almost no reason to have optimism in Boston.

Legendary LeBron in elimination games versus the Cs who are perfect at home this post-season.

Champs Warriors on the brink of elimination when almost nobody gave Houston a shot. Will GSW find and execute its team game or get lulled into playing and outwitted by the more ISO-centric style that Houston likes to play?

I'll read all about it...

You can't watch the games while on vacation?

I'll be out of any internet or tv range, unfortunately. I've R&R'd myself out of viewing possibilities lol yet *sigh*

I feel for you. I'm up in the Indian Himalayas as my wife is here doing fieldwork. I do have weak internet on my phone most of the time, so I wake up every morning and follow the games via ESPN's gamecast and on here. It's an oddly stressful way to take them in.

It's funny to hear the JVGs, Mark Jackson's, Barkley, Shaq and Kenny's of the world try to talk about LeBron in these playoffs trying to toe the line between praising him and trying not to bring up the GOAT conversation. He's earned the conversation, just let it happen guys.

All I know, son, is that it's clear to me that if Chris Paul doesn't go down, the Warriors would have lose that series. Now, they probably sneak into the finals on the back of another injured opponents star player. But GOAT team, my ass. Durant is a major reason the Warriors would have lost to Houston. They still might, but I doubt it. But Durant is not even close to Lebron when it comes to greatness. He's a frontrunner. Now, I don't blame him for heading to Oakland when he did. It was the easy way. Good for him. He got his ring and he might get another. But, I know Lebron James and KD is no Lebron James.

Not sure what this means...they are not a great team..my question was if LB is playing w scrubs how bad is the East?

Not bad at all. The teams that have faced the Cavs all had winning records against the Western conference. They're just having trouble containing LeBron James.

You know it might be easier if you gathered evidence and then drew a conclusion instead of the other way around.

Bost made the ECF w/out their best player...Philly won like 17 in a row playing Atl, Chic, NY, Brooklyn, Det etc just to get to 52 wins...Milw and Tor fired their coach...anymore evidence

Even if they think it they can't let the cat out of the bag, entire media careers rest on the tension of the debate.

Bet your unborn child's eyeballs on Cavs game 7.

The script has been written. "Cavs win without Love" "Exhausted Lebron carries team to finals" etc. Same thing in the West- the Warriors are an absolute lock.

Might put a couple mortgage payments on this one.

Boston has a good team even without their best player. Philadelphia also had a winning record against the West which is pretty good considering that none of the teams you listed are there. Toronto fired its coach after winning 59 games this season (including 19-11 against the west), specifically because his team couldn't beat LeBron.

This is silliness and I think even you know that. I hope you do.

Harden earned the MVP this year, but they really need to hand it out before the playoffs. Even though he earned it, it's going to look stupid to give it to anyone but LeBron

You have a point in that not knowing or being able to watch will make it less relaxing than I planned. Still, there are things outside of basketball... Game 7 in both conferences basketball... may the best teams win...

well there is probably a frequency in no mans land that can at least get you a radio feed if you change your mind

I'm sure I'll settle in to the planned R&R well enough, it's just... Murphy's Law, you know? Anyway, I'll get to see the finals and there's the rest of the off-season basketball business to get back into with renewed vigor, so that's my positive spin on it.

Can't decide who I've got as the last two teams standing; so many interesting and dramatic stories. I just hope that the finals teams are deserving and get to the biggest stage on the merits of their play.

Ten years ago, game 7 in 2008, and the rest is history. Love Brown, Rozier, Tatum for going off. Feel bad for Al, always play below average with LeBron’s team

what's more amazing about lb is how he has a maturity in personality from the cocky "decision" and not 1, not 2, not 3 to ust a guy who puts in the work day in and out and stays humble no matter the accomplishments. The inverse is what I am getting from KD in these post-game interviews, ust slouches his shoulders and vibing a fake humility atmosphere.

Excuses/ Reasons for either team that wins game 7:

Celtics- It's because they were at home for their game 7, Home teams have won each game this season and Kevin Love didn't play or is limited which further helped them.

Cavaliers- Celtics inexperience they couldn't handle the pressure of game 7, Because the Cavaliers have the best player in the world for game 7.

Or Excuses/Reasons for either team that lost game 7:

Celtics- Their too young and experienced to handle the pressure of game 7 and because they were going against the best player in the world.

Cavaliers- Because they were on the road for game 7 and its way too hard to win there and Kevin Love didn't play or was limited which further hurt the Cavaliers rotation.

You said the East must be bad because they can't beat LeBron and his substandard teammates. Yet the East teams in question did just fine against the west so they obviously aren't that bad. I didn't think it was that hard to understand.

It is the same tired old tautology of "LeBron isn't that good because he doesn't beat good teams, and I know they're not good teams because he beat them". It's just nonsense.
