That is a ridiculous strategy.

Everyone knows AD will be traded to Detroit on draft night for Lebrons son

It's going to be close to impossible. That's why they have to win it this year. Without Brown, their bench unit is uncle Jeff and Braun who hasn't developed.

The former will be too old and the latter is too inconsistent.

I'd say one more year at least. Get the core back minus DLO and Beas. Get much better seeding and rest Lebron a lot more and i can see us making a run. West is kinda wide open to be honest.

if ur resting LBJ alot more and day-to-Davis will revert to his rs norms - how do u expect to be a higher\high seed?

I don't think that's a realistic plan tbh

These people don’t realize the harsher they judge a guy in year 20, the more it enhances that point that his standards as a player is unmatched. It’s actually doing the opposite of what they think it’s doing

That's because just the other week the narrative was that ppl needed to respect Bron because of how well he was playing at 38, 20th season. Now we're being told that there shouldn't be any expectations for the same reason. Which is it?

I mean it can be both. Lebron is playing pretty great for a 38 year old and deserves respect for that. Doesn't mean he's a superstar anymore and should be held to the same standards he was in his prime. It’s just about being honest with context. Otherwise MJ isn't the GOAT because he wouldn't make an NBA team right now.

KCP has been lights-out from 3 in these playoffs.

This was the most impressive win of the playoffs to me.

Jokic got completely hosed on that fourth foul call. Denver nearly always falls apart in the third when Jokic has to sit, but they kept it even. Gordon and MPJ played great defense, KCP and Brown made some really clutch plays on offense and they held it down until Jokic came back. That's what they needed.

Both of these things can be true. It's WILD that he is playing so good at age 38. But he is 38... do people expect him to play like prime? Even with him playing "mediocre" he is averaging 24/12/10 this series on 52%

They put him on Murray when he was hot. They put him on Jokic last game to slow him down. I'm not sure what people expect.

If you expect him in year 20 to play like the GOAT, then you must have really high expectations, GOAT-like expectations of him. This isn't doing what you think it's doing

Once Austin Reaves gets overpaid by a team like Atlanta or Detroit we’ll never hear about him again lol

100% This is the type of game championship teams learn to win. Despite what this board thinks, there are plenty of times the Lakers have done the same on the road during their runs (other team getting all the calls etc...). Its a lesson many teams/players never learn (See Harden/CP3/Morey's teams etc...). Championship teams learn to go out at take it.

Keep tricking people into thinking you’re a good player when you were clearly the worst on court by eye and also the plus/minus.

Probably the reason DLO isn’t getting involved more.

Trying to give stats to a borderline nba bench player in the conference finals simply because of the colour of his skin.

That should be an easy call, win or lose in the Finals. Porter though…

Very impressive victory by the Nuggets- the Lakers were able to get Jokic in foul trouble with some questionable calls yet they persevered. Other teams may have melted down in a similar situation

Forget LA. It was the Extender who could not get the job done today. Silver will not be happy

it's not tho, i'm sure you know that as Nuggets fan
Malone is choosing to use those two guys, Braun was ok for the most part in the offseason but hasn't shown up for the playoffs and Green is lol

they have more guys, Malone just took everyone else off the rotation
if you guys win a chip i'm sure the way to keep Brown will be found, even if it involves money under the table lol

Murray & Jokic have drastically outplayed LBJ & AD

Because the West in general isn't all that good? And if we can retain the same team plus some good additions like a legit backup big i can easily see us being a higher seed.

Composure. Playing the right way with whatever situation (lead or trailing). That’s a trait of a Jokic and champion team.
