I guess that it's the same thing people have against Sasha. People just don't like them.

It was a dirty play and Bynum should be fined / suspended for it but I have no sympathy for J.J. Barea.

Stating that a shove on Blake caused this is wrong... but wait... we are a**holes according to you because we think it is ridiculous to point to a single shove as the reason why Bynum was a punk and took out Barea.
In the end, we are a**holes and and can't see what you see.... gotcha.
Man, maybe I'm just not being clear enough. What I said was, Bynum may have seen that push and reacted. Did I ever say it was the definite reason? NO. It was an observation. And you saying that the push didn't prompt the foul is just as wrong as saying it did. How do you know? Are you Andrew Bynum? Who knows what he was thinking at the time. How do you know he didn't see that push and it just put him over the edge? You don't. I don't. That's why I was just making the observation.
Lastly, I was out of line with the a**holes remark. Can we please get over it now? I thought you were a moderator, not an instigator.

Don't waste your time with this LALegend. He truly believes whatever he observes is the truth, and bar none, and is unwilling to take a step back and take off his homer glasses. Then he berates us for not agreeing. And we're the so called a-holes.

First, I was in no way blaming Barea. I think the foul was completely uncalled for and Bynum should be suspended.
All I did was make an observation.
Barea had the push on Blake. With already built up tension and frustration, Bynum sees that and does not take too kindly to it. Barea drives, and Bynum fouls him.
I am just making an observation and inferring as to why Bynum may have done it. I didn't say he was right in doing so and I didn't say it was the definite reason for the foul.
Or you know, la is getting blown out and Bynum was pissed for not getting the ball and well, decided to take it out on Barea.

You don't have to agree with me but floppers ruin the game.
I feel like they deserve whatever's coming their way...

Second of all, lost in all of this is what happened right before this occurred. Barea had the ball at the top of the key and bumped Steve Blake with his shoulder, which I thought was an offensive foul and would have been called had Blake fallen. I think Bynum saw that and retaliated. But Barea isn't completely innocent here.
But who are you to say what caused him to commit that foul. It could have been out of frustration over not getting enough touches.

Yes, obviously LA getting blown out had a lot to do with it. But who are you to say what caused him to commit that foul. It could have been out of frustration over not getting enough touches. It could have been what he thought was retaliation for Barea's push on Blake. Who knows? I don't. You don't. Nobody does, except for Bynum. I am not offering a definite explanation, just a possible one.
JustAwesome wrote:But who are you to say what caused him to commit that foul. It could have been out of frustration over not getting enough touches.
That's not really the best way to express frustrations over not getting enough touches on offense. In fact, that's stuff that you need to address with your teammates.

Except that he mentioned why he fouled Barea after the game:
"We were getting embarrassed, they were breaking us down. So I just fouled somebody," Bynum said after the game. "I was just kind of salty about being embarrassed ... For me, it was embarrassing to have the smallest guy on the court keep running down the lane and making shots."
He doesn't mention any retaliation. He was being embarrassed by the Mavs and Barea and decided to take a cheap shot.
