I'm not advocating violence in the NBA, but when it's clear that the rules don't go both ways and someone is attacking you, you need to attack back.
I don't know, if I played in the NBA these days, I probably would've went right up to him and gave him the Chris Childs two piece combo. Notice when Kobe received that, he stopped doing crap like that. That's not to say he stopped flopping(up until recently, he flailed his arms or legs all the time), but he wasn't taking cheap shots. No one has checked Wade, and they need to. He's been dislocating elbows(he hooked Rondo on that play), kicking people in the nuts, breaking noses, and let's not forget checking small players as if he were a hockey player or a safety lining up a WR going over the middle(Collison last year). Granger said something, but someone actually needs to do something. If not in this year's playoffs, then in next year's regular season.
Because then you are guaranteed to get a dirty response from Haslem/Andersen and it'll turn into one big **** of dirty plays throughout the game.
Even if Wade is in the wrong by initiating the dirty play, I can guarantee you that if another team hurts Wade, the Heat will hit back. It won't be let go.
Though, you can argue that this type of retaliation would actually play into the Pacer's hands because it would get Miami's back up bigs in trouble.
