I never said he was a #1 option. I never said that. I have always stated that Horford is the perfect piece to fit when you have your #1 option type player.
#1 option types are:
Booker
Porzee
LeBron
Leonard
Westbrook
Kyrie
Harden
Durant
Curry
Giannis
Lillard
etc...
I have a hard time putting a playing in the top player category when he loses a lot of his value without go-to scorers.
If you are building a team are you taking him over any of these guys?
1. LeBron
2. Durant
3. Curry
4. Harden
5. Westbrook
6. Davis
7. Giannis
8. Porzingis
9. Butler
10. KAT
11. Oladipo
12. Lillard
13. Paul
14. George
15. Aldridge
16. Derozan
17. Booker
18. Lowry
19. Holiday
20. Cousins
21. Jokic
22. Irving
23. Hayward
24. Wall
25. Beal
26. Conley
27. Gasol
28. Leonard
29. Walker
30. Gobert
31. Mitchell
32. Embiid
33. Simmons
34. Thompson
35. Green
That's where I'm comfortable putting him in. I'm sure you could argue him over a few of the other guys on the list. I'd say he's a top 40 player on his own. A very valuable player for certain rosters but isn't going to make a major impact as the main guy on his team. A top 40 player in the world is nothing to scoff at...
