That’s a very iso heavy team Philly now has. Jerry West is so damn good, I have I mentioned I hate him?

Unless the Pels trade him there out of spite to us (which i'm not ruling out), what would they offer? SGA and Jerome Robinson + the Miami first and the 12-14th pick and that 76ers pick?

We offered 2 firsts + our young 3 (and possibly Hart and Zubac) and we're taking back that scrub Solomon Hill. That offer still doesn't really come close.

Boston are about the only team that could legit beat our offer (unless a team like Denver takes a flyer on him or the knicks come in and offer the #1 pick).

Well I would think Shai/Robinson/Shamet/Harrell/2019 Clippers 1st/2020 Miami 1st/2022 1st.

Whether you like it or not, the Pelicans apparently aren't falling over themselves about the Lakers youth which is completely reasonable. The Clippers package allows them more time to rebuild with all of them having long term rookie scale contracts except for Harrell.

Personally I'm a fan of Ingram and Ball in the right environment and think they can be stars, not superstars, but stars. Kuzma is going to be a good role player on a good team at the least.

The thing that is missing out of what both the Clippers and Lakers can offer is that one big pick. The Miami pick could be jut that, probably won't though.

Its not bad sure. But that doesn't beat the offer we have on the table nor does it beat a hypothetical Boston offer as well. So if they're taking that, they're more or less doing it out of spite.

Every FO in the league has guys they love, some for whatever reason. For all I know, the Pels might hate the young Clippers and that offer could be nowhere near what they are wanting.
I think Danny Ainge has played it pretty well, but I can see him not offering Tatum so I think all of the teams fighting for his services are quite close.

Butler and Embiid is too iso heavy in order to be effective. Harris also need a ton of shots for his percentage to stay the way it is. For this to work they need to up their tempo extremely fast and I don't see Embiid being more productive in that kind of offense. Defensively they are scary. However, I still don't see them slowing down GSW high octane offense.

Simmons is not a good distributor and doesn’t have a good handle? What.

For strickly playing the PG position yes.

Hmmm, he’s averaging the 3rd most assists (8) while having one of the best passing games in the league. Care to explain?

I don't think this move is as big as it sounds. Harris is obviously pretty good but I don't know if he's really the difference between an ECF appearance and a 2nd round exits.

The picks are definitely nice for LAC but they is definitely a very long play for them, and I just don't know how long Jerry West is going to be around there to actually make use of the assets.

Lol, any Heat fan knows their picks situation going forward? Seems like they are very short on both 2nd and 1sts.

If Jerry West can get something for Gallo he really is a wizard. You still won't get Kawhi tho.

Redick is averaging 18.3 by strictly spotting up and getting to his spots.

what about the other 4? All of them have a usage rate of 20 atleast. What do you do with that? Who will distribute and control the tempo? Are you expecting them to iso all game long? with spot shooters for Harris and Reddick? Is that really a good way to spend 190 for that player to just shoot outside jumpers? I mean this guy is no Klay.

I think Simmons will average more assists and less points, he already averages the most kick-out assists in the league. I think Redick will average less points simply by not being the only perimeter shooter.

We’ll see.

Lebron also average 7-9 a game. Was he ever considered a PG? There is a difference of playmaking assist and getting your team involve to succeed.

Gallo is having a career year easily. He's also been our most versatile/clutch defender. He should be able to fetch a 1st IMO. I think Kings would be a great trade partner. They are only team with cap space to absorb some of Gallo so Clips arent taking close to same salary back.

Overpay. No one's beating GSW this year, so why not keep your assets and sign him in the summer? I mean yeah starting lineup is amazing now but that's the worst bench in NBA history lmao. Really need Fultz and Zaire Smith to come back strong

I'm sure that there are several teams interested to Gallo... I would see it well to SAC

Not sure how this doesn’t improve our depth. It’s three players incoming and three players outgoing and the incoming are better overall. Would be nice to add somebody that’s eventually bought-out tho.

Getting Wesley Matthews would be crazy right now.

I don’t think LBJ is considered a PG but he is/was definitely considered a Point Forward.

This is what I mean they are really banking on simmons on this. He also needs to make the most sacrifice. Embiid also a bit on his post play. They are young, I'm not sure if they will understand this thought process.

Simmons is a shooters dream teammate

Clippers: Great trade, got a good haul of assets for someone they probably weren't going to resign. This means they're probably giving up on playoffs for this year so also good for Lakers. Would love to see them stack up more picks by trading more of the vets.

76ers: This is going to get tough money wise down the road. They probably don't want to give Harris BIG money considering Butler will demand a max and Simmons will after next season, so sacrificing potentially good role players down the road (Redick) Also what are they going to do this summer when a team like the Nets offers Tobias max money.
