OH ****, Gasol held Embiid to 0-11 0 points

They both played horrible. Gasol was pretty bad against embiid last year himself. This game he was 1-8. 3 points.

It’s not like gasol does anything offensively

But embiid just stunk up the place big time. Couldn’t handle double teams.

The problem is Gasol is not the teams #1 option on offense.

I feel like I respect Leonard more cuz his choice was always to go home ( even after winning it all) to be close to his family even tho it meant leaving a team that’d likely give give him a better title chance.

It's obvious now that he was angling to get himself to LA the entire time. I don't blame him for it. After all, he had to wait 8 years until he could decide exactly where he wanted to play. Nobody should have a problem with that.

I just think it was distasteful of him painting the Spurs in a negative light, implying they didn't manage or diagnose his injury correctly (they had the diagnosis correct all along), etc....

Did you watch the game? Gasol had 9 assists and held Embiid to 0 points. He had a much better game than Embiid even if he went 1-8.

No. Raptors aren't dominating the spread. If you want to be called world champions, then dominate the spread. Tonight, you're at home and got +1.5. The Heat are doing a better job.

Gasol is old as dirt and hes not even the best player on the team...I can't believe some ppl on this board legit believe Embiid is as impactful as a prime Shaq.

The difference is the Raptors don't need Gasol to score. He's basically the fifth option on offence.
