Both of these are completely irrelevant to any intellectual conversation on how good of a basketball player he was

Then they revert to the bulls success despite never winning over a team as good as Russell, Wilt, Lebron, Kareem, Magic, Bird, Thomas were all able to lead their teams over more than once each.

Jordan never was and never will be goat because he’s narrative relies on a 6/6 lie assuming perfection in winning but failed when he met greatness as a team on the biggest stage.

Aww his little feelings are hurt

Why didnt your boy Le Cast beat Diggler in 2011? Jordan wins that series in 5

2011 mavs are similar to bad boy pistons so why couldn’t Jordan beat them in them the first couple times in their prime

Please, if I have to see the Jordan quit in 98 thread pop up one more time I am going to explode. If you think LBJ is GOAT then do it, but holy **** stop trying to tear down Jordan in order to make sense of your own opinion. Just disrespectful af.

Honestly, that picture suffices. As I mentioned above, I'm increasingly starting to lean towards LBJ for all-time career value over MJ, but 10 times out of 10 I will watch highlights of MJ over LeBron (or anyone else for that matter). To me, there has NEVER been a more aesthetically pleasing athlete to watch (and I say athlete, not just basketball player) than MJ. I grew up watching my Ultimate Jordan DVD over and over and over again with my friends. His game was absolutely gorgeous to watch. There has never been a more exciting person to watch on the floor. His fluidity and grace, and power when need be. That picture sums it up.

I like Harden a lot more than most on here, but that picture sums up why he ain't Jordan. And yes, I know the person was just joking about the comparison.

If you're leaning James in on-court value, then we disagree there, but we certainly agree on aesthetics. For me, Curry is the second most exciting player I've ever seen, but the difference is that Curry was really only near MJ's (aesthetics/excitement/hype) level for a season or two, whereas Jordan was that fun to watch for almost his entire time with the Bulls - a span of nearly fifteen years. Also, I stress the word "near:" Jordan was still superior to Curry in the three categories I mentioned in parentheses.

Imho, of course.

100% agreed. I'm still kinda uncertain on my GOAT pick anymore. I never thought I would lean LeBron, as I said I grew up with Jordan. I'd have to research the subject a lot more honestly to come up with an answer.

Just watching Jordan do stuff like one-handed fakes while palming the ball was so much fun.

When the Bulls lost to the Pistons in the ECF scottie pippen was complete garbage. You ever heard of the migraine game? Pippen was garbage. Jordan had Grant, Cartwright, Craig, Hodges, and BJ Armstrong. Le Cast had Wade and Bosh. Dont even compare the lineups. Jordan was out there with Grant and scrubs. What is Le brons excuse?

Too bad he gets Ray Allen, Kyrie Irving, and Anthony Davis to take the last second shots for him. Who took that last second shot in the wcf against denver this year? Anthony Davis. Two seconds left and le bron just sets a screen

I never get owned, ever. Let's start there. If anything, you as a LeBron hater has been getting owned ever since 2004. 17 years of being owned as a LeBron hater. Ouch. Interesting but lebron has like twice as many buzzer beaters in playoffs than Jordan pretty sure lebron has the better percentage too

Jordan also got kerr paxson and others to shoot too. The iso ball game ender is usually inefficient and stupid.

If Jordan is a better defender and offensive player than what are we really arguing here?

Y'all are saying that championship is a team effort, and here you are contradicting that argument. The reason why the Bulls were successful is that Jordan is portable in an offensive system and he let his teammates play their role. LeBron is not. That is one of the reasons why LeBron lost more than he won.

Nope, he doesn't. He is like 7 of 17 in the final 5 seconds, to tie or take the lead. I forgot if it's 10 or 5 because Stat finder in Bref now needs subscription.

'IF' arguments, which they do all day because LeBron is behind Jordan in most metrics, so they have to create a small world of their own where their 'IF' arguments are real. Plain and simple.

More accolades and accomplishments, both team and individual aspects.

All done in less years. LeBron played more years and still behind and chasing.
