That’s true. But there’s levels to contested jumpers.
He is creating so much space he’s literally setting his feet on balance and defenders are not changing his shot at all.
Before he’d have to lean, rugs it, overextend himself and his range of shot creation was like, not even half of what it is right now.
It’s a different player. And I think his brain has caught up to it.
Last year, he needed amazing screens fromAdams and Noel screens and then he’d shoot like 55% on perfectly timed(because the defense could rush him), elbow jumpers.
He’s just cruising all over the place and getting anything he wants and Dallas can feel it. His gravity and manipulation of rotations is back.
