I feel like no Kyrie makes the Nets more palatable from a competition standpoint. They were the dick spamming the OP move in fighting games. Now they're still stacked but within reason, and winning it will mean more for KD and Harden's legacies than just blugeoning everyone.

NYC may lift or ease their vaccine mandate by April 16th, that is 6 months away. Kyrie will still get paid for away games missed, basically just gotta wait and see at this point.

Agreed. There's also a certain symmetry that KD should have played with Harden for longer to begin with.

But I am enjoying this stage of things. A lot of chickens coming home to roost here.

For me I think it's more that Kyrie backtracks on everything after first doubling down... He wants to be the smartest man in the room, when he realizes he's not he becomes more stubborn before later caving in...

Yep, I agree with this. If he believes so strong about the vax then he should hold ground and retire or request a trade to a state that doesn't require being vaxxed.

What freedom was stripped from Kyrie? It's ultimately his choice to get vaccinated or not. Decisions in life will always come with consequences, but your decision to make those bad choices are still there....or your freedom as you said.

kyrie will be paid for games he is eligible to play in.

he still won't get paid for home games or against the knicks b/c of ny ordinances as well as at the warriors.

this means kyrie and nbapa has no grievance against the team.

Will Kyrie play this season?
