Nice job for the suns to weather the storm and have the lead but I just get this feeling the mavs will go on a big run and keep the lead

Lol, he's such an efficient finisher inside, who cares about dunking. How many times does Jokic dunk? Court awareness though, yes, that's not a strength of his.

The play was bad though

Jokic has touch. Ayton has none. So yeah, if h could shoot looking to dunk wouldn't alays be the objective. But he can't. And he has no post moves either so that's off the table as well.
So dunking should be his priority if he catches it and is a foot away from the rim.

The Suns are going back to the game 2 plan to let Luka isolate and cover the role players. He has 16 shots, that's 9 more than the 2nd guy Brunson. What's keeping the Mavs in the game is that they're not turning the ball over and they're hitting 3s.

They are going to lose badly if the role players keep missing shots. His 2 assists could have been easily 6. That should not be hard to understand from a Nuggets fan. He does need to reduce the dribble time and run time clock random 3s.

Last two plays of Booker are easy baskets missed by his teammates so badly. Dallas looked a little bit out of rhythm should be happy for them only be 3 down. The home games are clearly affecting in this series.

Luka's going to have to beat the 1-on-1 matchups when CP3 and Johnson are on him. The Suns aren't doubling. They're letting him cook. He just has to beat those matchups consistently.

Luka has been playing too much hero ball in the first half. He needs to get his teammates a little more involved, that's how they won the last 2 games

Kenny has been so defensive since the Bus Driver conversation and the guys are just twisting the knife with the photo finish. Just let him have it Shaq! It is all he has left!

I would be cautious over CP3. The refs may look for reasons to make it up to him and the Suns fans. Offensive foul is worse than giving up a steal or turnover.

Agreed those should damn near be automatic but they’ve been stopping him or he kinda decided to be lazy. Also I think he has to start those 1 on 1s close to the basket in the post instead of starting all the way by the three point line. The whole point is to spread the floor .

You can see how careful Luka is posting up against Paul

Should attack more smart to make baskets more easy there no doubt. But even that they are sending double in the post he doubted to much in some moments and that cost him turnovers and bad shots and the ball doesn't run at all sticked to much in his hands for those doubts. Suns has made a good job in disrupting his playmaking and stoping the offensive flow of Dallas. Even that Bullock for examples has missed two easy baskets or Kebler didn't make it no one. Maybe Powell should be playing a little bit more he did a good job in the start and you have at least one guy that can finish inside letting Luka more space in the midrange.

Does Crowder ever just do a standstill 3? Every time I see him shoot he has to juke, and dribble etc....

Shaq and Charles have said way worse stuff to Kenny than that lol. That bus driver comment wasn't even directed at him. They've both said long before to Kennys face that he doesn't know how it feels to be the man for your team.

Powell was not expecting Brunson's pass.

"This is a young man who can give you 50 and 60 on a nightly basis."

Hyperbole like this is why so many of us hate today's commentators. You can acknowledge a player's greatness without lying.
