So Luka and Kyrie are leading in scoring and steals per, foul outs and whinging to the refs

I need Jays to smoke them last game. I’m taking both of these dudes over Luka idc anymore. The underrating stops tonight

Amazing how dumb some of these posts now look. Congrats.

So Brown (-225) is currently the favorite to win the Finals MVP plum pre-Game 5.

Only Tatum (+225) can realistically upend him for that crown.

Assuming no Dallas upset (this would of course change the odds for everyone), what kind of statline does Tatum need to deliver to steal the award?

Maybe 30-13-5 is enough on assumption that Brown has an average game (something like 15-5-3)? Obviously if the pair both have good/great games then Brown wins it?

I think if Tatum is clearly the reason the Cs win this game and Brown has a below average showing then Tatum gets it. If Brown gets at least 20 on good efficiency and plays a good solid all around game, then I think he gets it unless Tatum goes really cra6 and scores 40+ or something.

The 4 guys in question have started Game 5 a collective 2-16.

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

Doncic: 29.2/8.8/5.6, .530 TS%, 28A/23TO, ~.874 points per possession.

Tatum: 22.2/7.8/7.2, .505TS%, 36A/11TO, ~.906 points per possession.

Tatum took a lot of flak but imo had the better series.

Yep. Still a dumb post. Congrats. Boston’s better than Dallas. Who didn’t know that? But your guys aren’t better than Luka nor are they underrated. G

Playing defense is criminally underrated by your average basketball fan and this thread stands as a testament to that.

Yes, they are. Luka will never get to the finals again
