said it after the draft. With their lack of depth and how deep this draft was they had a chance to really address needs. Since they already have their stars they just need glue guys and defenders and they nailed it. It really makes them playoff contenders in a loaded Western Conference. Calls for them to blow it up were silly. Way too much talent. But why?
Teams only play 4 preseason games over the course of two weeks. Why can't they get on an airplane?
Preseason games are often in neutral locations that bring the game to new fans and require both teams to travel. It's intentional and done't seem very burdensome on the players to me.
