Definitely liked what I saw from first impressions of Risacher. If you squint hard enough, I can see a version of Brandon Ingram that actually cares/tries on defense, and that's a Top-20 player right there.

boy, for supposedly one of the worst draft classes ever, according to realgm and "experts", these rookies are showing out. I know most are young or blocked and aren't likely to start but many will be major contributors

said it after the draft. With their lack of depth and how deep this draft was they had a chance to really address needs. Since they already have their stars they just need glue guys and defenders and they nailed it. It really makes them playoff contenders in a loaded Western Conference. Calls for them to blow it up were silly. Way too much talent. I do think Beal should come off the bench and be that unit's scorer so they can put defenders around Booker

You have been spot on with many things...you really don't get enough credit on here IMO

Noticed folks complaining about popups and spam on the site. I'm not having a problem right now but I def have problems with that stuff on occasion. Just wanted to mention we have a feedback and suggestions forum. It's fine to complain about it here but complaining about it there will lead to someone reading your complaint who can actually do something about it.

Celtics have a preseason back-to-back this weekend. And they just flew to and from Abu Dhabi like freakin Nermal without complaining.

Teams only play 5 preseason games over the course of two weeks. Why can't they get on an airplane?

Preseason games are often in neutral locations that bring the game to new fans and require both teams to travel. It's intentional and done't seem very burdensome on the players to me.

Neutral locations makes sense, that I get. But teams flying across the country to play teams in their home arenas? No huge downside or anything but just completely unnecessary.

Warriors flew to Hawaii for a minicamp and a game against the Clippers. Now they don't leave N. Cali for their last 3 games.

OKC/Houston preseason game being blacked out in Arkansas, a state with no major professional teams, pretty much tells me the NBA cares nothing about its fans. It’s almost as bad a realGM website with me trying to make a post.
