BigGargamel must be completely stumped LeBron won 66 games with Mo Williams or won a ring with Wade averaging 15.9 PPG on awful efficiency in the playoffs. Jokic is apparently even better but he needs superstar help to beat the Wizards.

I was on vacation last week and didn't watch Denvers last two games. Considering they barely beat a Lakers team without all of their best players and lost for the second time to a team that's been in full tank mode since game 1, that's probably a good thing. I need a vacation from this team for my mental health.

Jokic is the only player who can drop 40/13/9 and have people attacking his performance the next day. A lot of people have lost the plot and or have been negatively polarized by Jokic fans

Something I noticed is that when people want to criticize Jokic's performance when the box score numbers are great they just say "bad defense" as to why his performance was "secretly" not so good. There are obviously games where Jokic has bad defense (the recent Kings game for instance), but these people just say "bad defense" no matter what actually happened in the game

Delusional claim.

People to this day INSIST LeBron "choked" for a series in which he averaged 38.5/8.3/8.0 on elite efficiency (relative to era), hit a game winner and sent another game to OT with free throws.

Jokic doesn't get 1/100th of the **** LeBron or Durant get.

Was like 11 in 2009, but if people were seriously criticizing LeBron for the 2009 ECFs then that’s very silly yeah

Cute how you list his stat line when absolutely no one here is criticizing his offense.

People are literally posting YouTube clips of his bad defense in these games. It's not a "secret".

Didn’t know if you knew this but Defensive lowlights aren’t a good way to evaluate a players defense and yet I unironically see people cite them. Again there are games where Jokic has bad defense (recent Kings game for instance), but people scream “bad defense” basically no matter what actually happened. A lot of these people also straight up don’t believe in any defense analytics and prefer defensive lowlights to evaluate players

I just hope when the dust settles on all of this that there will be a healthier look back at these two insane seasons and both sides can be more respectful of the other.

Duop Reath scored 26 on 10-14 shooting during Goberts DPOY season. Don’t recall any cognitive effort to use that as a case to tear Gobert down as a defender.

Don’t expect to see any of Jokic steals or blocks in these defensive “compilations” either. Conveniently.

Jokic haters have nothing better to do with their day than find any excuse to tear him down. The roaches of discourse that infest underneath the surface of conversation.

To be fair, Jokics defense against the Wizards was horrible. But he looked like he checked out in that game and only casually played offense. Looked really tired too...

His EPM prior for the Wizards game was +7.1 overall which includes his defense

So the Warriors climb the standings after Butler joins but Curry be the MVP? (They’re still 6th)

Don’t get my wrong Curry has been good but Joker and SGA are on another level. I’d put Giannis and Tatum before Curry as well.

What does that have to do with the Wizard game? I agree that Jokics defense often gets maligned unfairly but there are games where he really does suck on that side.
