No, it's not. This is a rare high scoring game.

Argentina shooting well isn't a surprise. It's to be expected as their basketball school traditionally develops good shooters. Serbia not being able to shoot, though, isn't normal. Their basketball school is renown for its shooting. 3/10 is a bad percentage for a team like Serbia.

They are getting good looks after pick n roll and ball movement. They are not afraiod to attack and they read the defense perfectly. Jokic and Bjelica are vulnerable in defense.

Serbia's offense is static. Jokic is not as deadly without all those guards constantly cutting around him in the Nuggets offense.

What i noticed also in the first was the Argentina ball pressure, they were trapping bogdan on the catch and really pressuring the serbian wings, almost USA esque. we'll see if they can keep up that amount of energy in the 2nd half.

Serbia is definitely the favorite to come out of this match-up but let's not sell Argentina short. Yes, they did get a bit lucky in the draw but they also won all 5 of their games and only one of those games was within 10 points.

Jokic has 14 points on 75% FG with 4 assists. What more do you want from him?

Wondering what you all think about Campazzo being able to play in the NBA.

I've always thought he'd struggle a bit without a reliable shot, but he is playing at a higher level now. He might be able to have a Barea like role.

Refs helping the serbs to stay in the game. Serbia is very overrated. Imagine Argentina with Ginobili...

It's impossible not to root for Argentina for a casual fan, their playstyle is cool, they play with passion and Scola and Campazzo are impossible not to love

He can play in the nba, ofcourse. He would automatically be one of the best passing off the bench guards in the league. I dont envision him as a starter because of his inability to score from what i've seen. he could be an ish smith type guard though.

Campazzo is like Teodosic. Solid shooter and good playmaker but small and bad in defense.

I would love to see a 100 m race between Scola and Jokic.

It would help if Jovič and others wouldn't be so scared to shoot if he pass them ball and they are all open.

Serbia plays no defense. If they dont play Defense they are gonna lose this. Campazzo is killing it. Gotta love this Argentinian team.
