jbsays wrote:Heat are just over matched, Pozingis out, Butler out, Rozier out, Robinson injured. That's around $150 million in salaries versus around $90 million in salaries. I'm not sure any team would overcome that. Heat are starting Wright who was waived by the Wizards a month ago.

I'm not impressed by Tatum though. Great skill set, but doesn't seem to have the killer instinct. Celtics still might have enough around him though with White, Brown, and even Holiday. Brown gets a lot of flack on here, but he is atleast aggressive on the offensive end and doesn't settle. If I can watch and there is a close Celtics game I'm going to be very interested in seeing who attacks on the offensive end. Is it going to be Brown, Tatum, White, or someone else taking the big shots?

They were already outmatched even if the Heat were fully healthy. Now that they are out, it's a G-League team out there-- but with Spo at the helm, that improves by 100% and still won't have a chance :D

Can't wait to see some of the Herro trade scenarios the Heat fans come up with. Hard to beat the ones they posted last summer.

He might be but its hard to tell with how many guys they have to take over at any time.

If he's not someone should probably tell Spo lol.

Without Porzingis, Cleveland or Orlando could be very annoying to play against since both teams have more than one good big. Kornet and Tillman are going to be needed.

Outside of this year thoguh, this has been the MO for every team facing the Celtics. Giannis' Bucks Joels 6ers, Bam and the Heat. If theres one team in the league that's used to playing with Zero size, it's this Boston Celtic core

I don't disagree with you, CLE actually gives me a little panic because unlike those other teams, they have elite guard play which can punish you if you give them 10 more shots than you a game. I trust that our size at the wings and on the perimeter will help mitigate the size advantage for CLE, and that Kornet and Xman can give us the 20 or so minute we need against Allen.

Mobley isn't at the stage yet where he can punish us with his size yet, that part of his game hasn't clicked yet, so honestly it's just Allen on the glass that we need to worry about (outside of Mitch just going off for 40)

Love ORL but I would be shocked if they win that series, and thing we would handle them easily.

Heat gotta actually take the regular season seriously next year. Jimmy sitting random games to load manage killed them.

Celtics still would beat both, but if KP was playing, I could have seen a sweep. They might get sucked into a 6 gamer with a couple of mediocre three point shooting games.

What’s a better option Bam face guarding Tatum or Derrick white vs patty mills or Jaylen brown vs Tyler Herro

Tatum doesn’t need to do too much against this awful Heat team and especially not with the way they’re disrespecting everyone else on the team with their coverage

Miami needs to make some serious moves. They are getting worse defensively. They need a legit scorer to go along with Butler unless they content to be nothing more than a spoiler.

I think we will be glad to not see Heat jerseys because something about them.slows us down. Even with their injuries they were familiar with us to slow us down a bit. Im hoping us shaking off this anchor can help us as the playoffs fo.
