I think this series comes down to Middleton vs. Reddish now. McMillan found something when he unleashed that 1990 Scottie Pippen clone on Middleton. If Reddish locks down Middleton and harasses him for the rest of the series like he did last night, it doesn't matter what Giannis does (assuming he healthy), this series is over.

Hawks fans literally copied this from Nets fans. Why should they get the credit?

Cam is looking healthy and ready. Bogi is getting back to form and Trae should be back soon. Hawks could be getting the injuries out of the way just in time for the finals...minus Hunter of course

Trae and Giannis injuries had nothing to do with the scheduling of this season. Most of the SooperDooperStar injuries were the same way, just flukes. The fact is the game is played harder than ever with more movement and the most athletic big men in the world.

To me this just shows how exciting and compelling NBA basketball can be if they stop building around SooperDooperStar brands, but I know armchair America is just too lazy to look beyond the celebrity stuff. Nobody here predicted to the Hawks to do what they did, either in this game or the playoffs in general. It's refreshing.

I agree with your overall point and I also agree that the injuries to Trae and Giannis can be seen as flukes. That said, this season has had a ton of injuries, in general. The team I support, the Indiana Pacers, didn't play a single game where every rotational player was healthy this season and we weren't even the most injured team in the league.

I doubt Milwaukee fires him. Now, a large market team would, because how he coaches isn't acceptable. To fire someone you must have a solid replacement in mind and one that you're positive wants the job.

While Bud is average there are many coaches that are below average. I doubt Milwaukee is willing yo give away free money to coaches like other teams are (Indiana one year and done).

It was good to see Cam have a productive game. Oh, how I wish Hunter was healthy.

He only has 1 year left. They can for sure eat it especially given their lack of success. It's not like he has 2-3 yrs left.

I’ve been living in Atlanta since 2002. I have NEVER seen a Hawks team have such a great home court advantage like this team. It’s been great to witness this transformation.

Ya, this is why you cant come out flat in a game like this. Without Trae, Bucks shouldve been up 20+ by the time giannis got injured, but Hawks came out with wayyy more energy and Bucks came out like they expected to be given the win. Embarrassing preparation from the Bucks

That’s a Bud team right there, folded when facing adversity

I have been trying to remain calm with my posting during this series. I like the way the Hawks match up against the Bucks a lot. What they did Monday night should go down as one of the greatest coached Hawks wins ever.

McMillan threw everything including the kitchen sink at the Bucks. And it worked. It will be interesting to see if Reddish and Dunn get minutes again on Thursday night. I hope Reddish can go again. His length and defense matches up well with Middleton and Jrue.

Depends on the results of Giannis's injury and the direction they go. Personally I would tank if it is an ACL. Bud won't coach that and might take the year off on the Buck's dime.

Respect to Bucks fans or at least the ones in this thread who treated this injury as an accident and not going after Capela. People are still giving ish to Solomon Hill for a another random play earlier this season
The Greatest of All Time debate in basketball is essentially who has the greatest basketball resume of the player who has the best highlights instead of who is the best player

I didn't realize Bud is a free agent after next season until doing some research.

I'm legit juiced for you guys, so happy to see the Hawks doing well. It's also been a long time that the Hawks had someone that I tuned into just to see, enjoy the many years of Trae!

The fans typically support the team in the playoffs. The Boston Celtics series in the past come to mind.
However, this team is special and thankfully management dumped the baggage off the team mid season.
