I'm happy enough as it is for them to reach the finals and play against one of the best player and franchises of all time. It was an uphill battle from the start and u can't ask for a better team than that for the C's to gain experience from.

Thanks and good luck. Except when we are playing against you guys!

Well, it was the Warriors' defense that won them that series.

The Warriors offense had a 110 offensive rating in the Finals and a 116 for the rest of the playoffs. So the Celtics defense did well.

hey were the better team and to me it was obvious.

Boston is an elite defensive team, but very challenged offensively. Neither Milwaukee or Miami had a reliable offense to challenge them. Defense can only take you so far. You need guys who can step up and score consistently.

Boston is still really young though. They will get better. And they need to add some bench players for sure.

I dont think they sniff another finals for a decade

Was Butler vs Tatum a debate?

It wasn’t, only because almost everyone in this realm of toxicity ranked Tatum in a higher tier altogether than Jimmy, when in reality it isn’t remotely clear that Jayson’s not-yet-met ceiling reaches Jimmy’s proven ceiling. People want to seriously overrate, early. A lot to like, but a lot to NOT like.

Yeah, I got no ill will towards C fans or their monolithic history as a team. Good luck to them unless they play the Warriors. They have way too many guys that are heading towards their peak in the next few years.

They desperately need a proper playmaker though, Smart isn't it.

Happy for Steph - even if it was against my team. Always been a big defender of his in those "exposed" threads. I don't get and never understood the hate he gets.

hes a special player for sure, without doubt proved he is much better than tatum and most def a superstar in the nba. Boston needs to build there team around jaylen if they wanna win a title...

There's a reason wiggins was on tatum and not brown. Even a struggling tatum was a bigger concern for kerr.

Pic as proof?

Do you not believe me?

No I don't. I don't think you even bet or lost anything close to a car note. Not even $1k.

Wow, listening to Bill Simmons' pod right now (always a must in this series). He's got Curry in his top 10 All Time now. It has officially entered the basketball media ethos.

I think the most frustrating thing was that Boston did look like the better team at random points. If they had been steamrolled, at least then you don’t have any wild aspirations…

Golden State played with a lot of poise and played hard every possession. They deserve this win and all of the praise that comes with being champions. Hopefully the C’s learned a lesson on poise under pressure and the things that champions do when the game is on the line. That wouldn’t make this series a total loss.

Meh, Wiggins just had it going vs Tatum. Why fix what's working so well. Also, that conversation who Alfa dog between Brown and Tatum is silly. Better question is, will they get better and make others around them better.

These are evenly matched teams talent wise. Difference is, Kerr is a HOF coach and Ime has ways to go. Experience played bigger role if anything.

Congrats to the Warriors, the better team won. With the way we played not sure if we deserved to be in the Finals(honest opinion).
Good assessment:
