Probably the case if Porzingis is not back to 100% in the Finals. However, with KP back they’d be the favorites vs the Mavs/Thunder/Wolves and will be a toss-up vs the Nuggets.

Casual fans, i’d argue, want the Celtics in the finals so that we won’t have a one-sided championship series like last year when we knew Miami was very much outmatched.

Imagine the struggle of watching a Knicks/Pacers vs West team (any), it’s so unfair we’ll just be talking about if they can stretch the series to a Game 5 or 6.

Based on reporting he still has limited mobility. No reason to rush him back while up 3-1 in the 2nd round.

The Celtics wouldn't have the best player in any of those series and the big three in the West are about as deep as the Celtics are. I would expect the West to win it all this year

Boston isn't as good as their fans think but they also aren't as bad as some people are saying over here. Boston is very good. They aren't a historically great team. Matter of fact, I would take the last 2 champions over them in a 7 game series and feel pretty good about it. But again, the C's are still good.

I like Mazzulla as a coach a lot more than some other Celtics fans do. But this here is a legitimate criticism. It's also a valid criticism of Tatum. I hate that offense where he walks the ball up and barely gets past halfcourt before an 8-second violation. They have no time to get into the flow of their offense and create easier shots that way. It's really frustrating to watch.

The Bucks had to beat a real team to win a title. The Celtics will most likely have to do the same with whoever emerges from the West, I don't think they have it in them to do it.

Who wins and goes to the ECFs?
