A win is a win and teams step up when their star misses a game. So over-reacting to how well you lost game 2 might not mean anything more than Milwaukee fans gloating about winning without Giannis did, the same way Philly winning game 1 without Embiid doesn't mean they're winning the chip once he's back.

You guys needed Tony Brothers and a big run in the second half just to beat us without our All-NBA guy in game 1, despite our second star playing like crap, and as we just saw that didn't guarantee that we'd romp you in game 2 the way some silly people said we would :dontknow:

Demented, deranged and unstable. You should check yourself into Bellevue as soon as possible because your going to lose it when the Heat destroy the Knick the next 2 games.

MSG South should be welcoming, wonder how the Heat will respond to a road game at home though :o

Imagine doing that in response to a post on realgm about the hate for fans in a realgm thread...

I mean you wanna bring tweets and podcasts etc into it then what is even the point? There is an endless supply of both for both teams lol.

 you're projecting my prickly friend. Even if we get gentleman swept I'll be pleased with this season. I'm a happy person and getting upset over a sports team is such a silly thing to do. But if you're more interested in convincing yourself that your d*** is adequate than discussing basketball, I'll leave you too it.

Heat in 5.

Blame your coach for not challenging that last call, you may have even been up 2-0 who knows.

What we do know is that Julius Randle is a handful for the Miami defenders and if he and Brunson get healthier while RJ runs amuck, the Heat fans are going to have some more anxious moments.

I can see how the previously cool and confident Miami facade has somewhat faded and has led to anxiety filled toxic posts in here already.

It’s so funny hearing all the Heat fans talking about missing Herro. If Herro were playing, Miami would probably be a first round out. We don’t see all these shooters having career shooting numbers in the playoffs considering he’d be taking shots away from all of them and Jimmy.

And I bet the whole world thought the Knicks would get pummeled by the Cavs when we lost game 2 by 20

We’re gonna go to MSG South and get take back HCA with our mid 3 leading the way.

It’s a running joke since we signed Brunson. Mid 3 was coined over the summer to make fun of the Knicks, but look who’s getting the last laugh

The handwringing over the Brunson 3 call is too much. There was a judgment call made but frankly, Brunson was wide open, squared, screened, and beginning to shoot JUST as Bam's clumsy ass just bowled over Hartenstein. So what now? The Knicks should be penalized because Football Bam made the tackle maybe a millisecond before Brunson had his arm up? Next game should we put in DaQuan Jeffries to just tackle Lowry right before Martin shoots so his shots don't count? We can do it but that's not basketball.

If I were a neutral fan, I'd have wanted the call to go the same way. Knicks made a great play and as an official you shouldn't take it back on a technicality if you can swing it. It's like those plays where a defender jumps in front of the dunker just as they take flight and is technically outside the circle and set while the dunker posterizes him. There's an argument for an offensive foul... maybe even a good one... but what a rotten thing to call. Or a fast break where a defender fouls the passer just as they get the outlet out to a wide open man leaking out for a dunk. Now they've gotta take two free throws instead? Or inbound?

Satisfying the "well technically" crowd makes for some boring ass basketball. The spirit of the game should reward good plays and I like the trend towards not penalizing the team getting fouled when they convert immediately after, especially on a bum football play like that one was.

Now bring on the whatabouts. I will not be looking at them.

Df is wrong with y'all playing victim? Y'all won. I did not mention the refs cheating to discredit the Knicks win, wtf. The refs could have called everything fairly and we still could have lost. Bam was being outplayed by g-leaguers and we still did very well all things considered. But Foster was predictably unfair against the Heat and he's been a top trend on Twitter since the game ended because of it. My comment had nothing to do with the Knicks. I expect some guys to get favorable calls, especially ticky tacky ones, I expect homecooking; we benefit from those with Jimmy, but he gets whacked a lot and gets defenders to bite very easily. But some of that **** last night was blatant.

I have Knicks fans in my chat that are happy they won, but recognize that Foster had something going on.

I would say the same **** if the reverse happened; happy we won, but that's a crooked ass ref.

By the way, I know our fanbases talk a lot of **** to one another, but some of you on BOTH sides are skating the rules. Do not make broad generalizations about fanbases and do not make personal attacks. This is not the Knicks board or the Heat board so keep that out of this thread.

Do not force me to clean this thread and hand out strikes.

I am begging y'all. Please. I love the banter and back & forth.

We beat up soft teams on the glass, you're already losing the rebounding battle, guess we may have to say your team is soft :o
