The explanation was completely at odds with what actually happened. Even the announcers were trying to re-explain it during the replay and had to stumble and change their wording. The explanation was that Trent took an extra little step after Harris went into his shooting motion, when that didn't happen at all. Harris put his shoulder into Trent while trying to sidestep, knocked him over, and *then* picked up the ball to go into his shot.

If that was Siakam or OG with the ball and knocking a set guy while side stepping, you know it's a call.

They got way more talent than us. Calling an ace an ace here.

We got at best two stars and a rookie who's doing good.

They got Embiid playing at MVP, Harden, Maxey playing at star levels, with Tobias playing great.

I think this is the best Philly team we've ever faced. Way better then the '19 team they had.

I'm not debating talent here, i'm debating current results. And i'm also not blaming the refs, even though it might look it.

Both teams have scored 18 2 point shots, the 76ers have made 1 more 3 point shot than us.

They've made 13 more FTs than us.

The score is currently Raptors 50 - 62 76ers

Would they still be winning? Yes, they are shooting ridiculously from everywhere and they've made 1 more 3 point shot than us.

But the simple fact is Embiid is the difference maker this game because he got to the line so much.

The Raptors have shot well, but we have no one who can reliably get to the line. The 76ers have 2. It's really that simple.

I get what you're saying, but the assumption here is all is equal.
