I said the winner of the ECF would go on to win it all.

No idea why everyone was bandwagon hopping the Warriors. Both the Heat and the Celtics are better teams.

Yeah, they both have in fact won a title. One got carried to one and the other joined the best team so he could be guaranteed two of them.

And they do have something that they don’t. Wanna know what that is? Am upcoming game, because unlike Irving and Durant, they were able to get the job done and advance to the next round.

I’d be more worried about your ruined reputation on this site if I were you.

Both are Champions no matter what idiotic excuses you make for them getting there. That can never be taken from them no matter how upset it makes you

Pretending they can't be part of winning teams is literally false.

And doesn't matter if Celtics win this year or not. Cause Celtics were sitting at home when they both won titles.

Too bad I never said they can’t be part of winning teams. I said they aren’t winning basketball players. There is a difference.

Regardless, not doing a back and forth with you in this thread. I go into the game threads to have discussions with people who watch the games, are knowledgeable and offer good insight and discussion.

You do none of those things. So off you go.

The Celtics have been a good 3 point team for a while now. Look at their numbers from January or these playoffs. They have multiple great 3 point nights, especially on the road. I credit the rhythm and pace the Celtics played with because they are swinging the ball and converting that kinetic energy

imagine your team being so irrelevant that you have to brag about your players past success on different teams

The real Finals was the ECF Heat Celtics.

Payton Pritchard: ‘We know Tatum can score at highest level but when he is making passes and getting us shots like he did tonight they guard you differently. It’s a game changer.’
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Horford/Smart really just went 10/15 from three and shut the Warriors down with Tatum having the worst shooting game of his career. That’s wild.

It was t the shooting. That will come and go. It’s that Brown could not be stopped.

That’s scary to think of Warriors can’t handle him.

I mentioned this a while ago, but Draymond has been living off his laurels for quite some time on the defensive end. No way he could hang with Brown and tonight proved it. Dray got cooked by a raw Siakam 3 years ago and looked horrible in that series, no way an older version of Dray can slow down Jaylen Brown who is a way better scorer than 2019 Siakam ever was.

Those two players are nothing alike. You clearly haven’t watched PP these playoffs he has been lights out from downtown. What blows my mind is that the Warriors weren’t able to attack him on defense. Iggy should be ashamed of himself taking a fadeaway.
Please, pass what ever you are smoking if you think Prichard is a starting point guard. He is a decent player but if you watched b-ball enough the playoffs always over hype role players.

I never said he was starting material, just was pointing out that he’s a much better role player than Cameron Payne who proved that last postseason was a fluke.

Draymond's plan moving forward is for the C's to just miss shots.

Tatum, Smart, Green, White, Horford, all found ways to be impactful by reading the game as it went on, making crucial adjustments and playing winning basketball. So many people want to give endless praise to the Kevin Durant and the Kyrie Irving’s of the game. THESE are the players who deserve that praise. Guys like Irving and Durant play to score. These guys play to win. Having guys like that is how the warriors rose to prominence in 2015, and tonight, we’re witnessing it now with Boston.

Both those guys have rings, but do you really consider them champions? They were great role players and won titles when surrounded by surreal levels of talent, but we have not seen them win without their original teams.

Why did Kerr wait so long to put his starters back in the 4th? By the time Looney, Wiggins and Green came in under the 6 minute mark Boston had overcome a 12 point deficit to take the lead and the Boston starters started feeling good and got red hot.

Lol makes absolutely no sense there are 2 days off between games, it’s the NBA finals, starters should be in at the start of the 4th, not sure what he was thinking or trying to accomplish but that was a big coaching error.

Amazing that all it takes for hello Brooklyn to get roasted alive by multiple users is to do what he does best: come to the defense of his precious nets players and do a terrible job of it.

Imagine saying two players who have a combined three Championships are not "winning players."

Youre the one that derailed the thread by discussing Kyrie/KD instead of Celtics who got a great win.

You are so obsessed with KD/Kyrie you can't go 5 seconds without somehow mentioning them.

Huh? Why do you think our guys were open?

Are they gonna shoot like that every time they're open? Yeah he's a star and he draws attention. I didn't see any particularly imressive playmaking outside the 1st

Offhand, I can recall him singlehandedly setting up 2 makes in the critical stretch when they pulled away. But I agree, it's a combination of drawing the attention and making the right passes, as opposed to him being some master ballhandler/passer.
