Tell me the last time a player went back to back MVP without his team being top or close to the top of the conference in both seasons?

Tell me the last time a player had 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, and 500 assists in a season?

How about the last time a player had 13 40/10 games?

When is the last time a player was in top 10 in pts, rebs. asts, FG%? We can play this game all day if you like. Both three players are deserving of MVP you cant say otherwise. Whether it is his first second or third MVP.

I’m a little worried about this guy if Jokic wins. The way he’s constantly going at him now reminds me of Nick Wright. We know he’s going to have a full meltdown if joker wins.

Í already know he'll win. I'm fine, just think it's ridiculous.

Today 40 and 20!
There's clearly plenty of doubt. I've said this a few times but if you believe there's no doubt there's 50 sports books all willing to give you better than double your money if you're right.

All three are deserving I wouldn't call anyone of them winning as ridiculous. Too bad you can't appreciate how great and deserving of each player winning the reward.

I think he's one of the best players of his generation. He's deserving but when Embiid has not won one, and is putting up the stats he is, you'd expect Jokic to be incredible. He is, but his team isn't. If this was his first time winning one I'd have no issue.

Moses had worse team records when he won his first two so I don't why there should be any issue

They all have their reasons why they should win. No one is ridiculous in winning it. The media will decide. It’s subjective and everyone has their own criteria for what MVP should be. They get to vote for 5 guys. I’m sure these 3 will be on every single ballot

It's my opinion, but I'm not the only one who feels this way. Let's not act like this is some sort of hot take.

how is third seed mediocre?

Well Embiid was 1st, but yeah last year wasn't as bad. I think third is fine for his first MVP. It's just funny, he;s playing better, but now his team is 6th.

Yes, they're 48-33 despite missing two excellent players for the entire season. That doesn't matter to you, that MPJ and Murray have been out the entire year? Their second and third best players?

They've had two below average bench players take up all those minutes, as a result.

Nikola Jokic doesn’t stat pad. He advanced stats pad.

Jokic does the opposite of stat padding.

In games decided by 15 or more. 30:13 MPG, 22.3/12.4/9.4.

In games decided by 5 or less: 36.1 MPG, 27.1/15.3/7.7.

Jokic has 6 games just missing a triple double by 1 assist or rebound this year. He has 32 games missing a triple double by 1 in his career.

So, here's the scary thing. Jokic doesn't play garbage minutes.

If he was Jordan or Shaq or Lebron playing 40+ mpg in his prime (including all blowouts and garbage minutes), his numbers would be drastically better.

How many Nuggets games have you watched the past two years?

If you think it's ridiculous that Jokic should win MVP, you obviously have not watched him play at all, or hardly at all.
