Good game for Bynum 18 points and 16 rebounds. I still don't understand why won't the Lakers give the ball to him more often.

How many careers does he have to put into jeopardy before we acknowledge the fact that he's a "thug" and deserves a career ending injury.

18/16 on 7/12 in 29min. Andrew is not Dwight Howard, plain and simple HOWEVER can we stop the debate about who's better between Drew and Lopez...

you're a terrible human being. no athlete deserves a career ending injury.

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

if kobe passed him the ball more i firmly believe you'd see more dwight/bynum comparison threads. last season he simply didn't get touches. odom leaving was a good thing for drew's development.

If I was Barea, I would've blindsided the crap out of Bynum and then started stomping his knees.

Like a lot of the Lakers, he's a whiny bitch but he did abuse the Nugs these past two games. It's only against Mozgov, but still, without Bynum the Lakers would have lost the first game and been blown out the second.

He's looked great but I'm pretty sure everyone knows he can't keep it up. He always goes through hot streaks and then just plays like crap, and does some stupid move like bowing JJ Barea. He has so much potential and if he continues (which is unlikely) to play like this the Lakers could be real good this year. With him require so much attention down low, it'll allow Gasol to get more open shots along with the perimeter players. I think also a lot has to do with him not being in the Triangle offense and a more open playing under Brown.

Nene's never been a great rebounder and he was on Pau half the time anyway. Birdman put up 12 points and 9 boards in limited minutes. He actually did a decent job when he was in.

And don't even throw Al Harrington's name in there. You ought to know better than that. Ooooh Al Harrington the prolific rebounder and defensive menace! Hide your children!

I believe it was ThreeYearPlan that claimed he wouldn't average it.

Yet he turned around and said he'd average 9.7

Mozgov, Harrington, Nene and Anderson isn't exactly the pinnacle of low post defense. Hopefully Bynum starts playing defense soon

wtf are you talking about. he goes through hot streaks and then gets injured. i've never seen him go on streaks of terrible games unless he was playing through an injury and wasn't that producitve. besides how do you define bad games when over the last three years guys like derek fisher try to take as many or more shots than you.

The refs are letting him get away with lowering his shoulder and knocking people down or hooking them with the elbow. He could have fouled out of the game had they called it differently.

It's like the Shaq-era all over again.

Whenever I've seen him play, he has his moments but then can go completely cold and get dominated by much weaker smaller players. Kendrick Perkins in 2010 Finals. If Perkins doesn't get hurt, he continues to dominate Bynum and Gasol and the Celtics most likely win the Finals. I agree he didn't get as many shots as he should've and that he didn't really fit into what Phil Jackson was doing, thats why I think with Mike Brown brining in a new style of offense he'll excel more. Now can he keep that up? I don't know, but more importantly can he even stay healthy long enough for it to matter.

Your right man, the guy doesn't average 10.5 and 7 in his career because he's consistent. I wouldn't say he goes through terrible stretches of games but he does go through stretches where he just coasts on his talents, doesn't try to board or defend and is not "engaged"
