i never expected to win the 1st, and the mavs were pretty close. who knows if ibaka will shoot the ball this well again. if no one else steps up, okc is pretty limited offensivly. i take our depth anytime, thank you.

you do realize okc was the 2nd best offensive team in the regular season right? the reason it was so close was they couldn't stop the mavs from scoring.

This was a great game. A breath of fresh air after the Miami Heat debacle earlier. It is fun to watch an NBA game where there is not a foul call in favor of the home team every other possession.

The foul calls actually ended up favoring Dallas tonight, I was really surprised about that.

The Western Conference is still by far the best.

As soon as the first game of the west coast started sh*t got real. Awesome game in OKC

Wasn't like Rose was going to stop the Heat to begin with. Look what happened last year.

No they didn't. OKC got away with a lot more, and that foul on Dirk on the Ibaka And 1 was terrible.

Exactly. Getting more fouls called doesn't mean they favored a team. Based on how many foul calls Dirk SHOULD get, it's not close. Imagine Durant getting banged and held that much every time OKC tried to get him the ball 20-25 feet from the basket. He'd get 100 FT's a game.

Oh, brother. Quit acting like everything went bad and you still won. You can't take some cherry-picked stats from 1 game and deduce anything. You can do the same thing on the other side. "If you'd told me Ibaka would have had 22 pts on 75% shooting and Westbrook would've shot 13-23, and blah blah,no way I woulda thought we'd be in the game". Sounds kinda ridiculous, no?

I disagree. I felt that Dallas threw there best punch at OKC an still fell short. Very telling IMO

Dallas having no interior defense and OKC getting to the rim at will eventually killed Dallas. If Dallas doesn't make up for losing Chandler, then Cuban just cost his team a potential championsip. (Like get Dwight?)

I honestly believe that Chandler in the paint, which would've prevented some of drives by Harden and the eventual gamewinner by Durant. Give Durant a lot of credit for getting pass his defender and into the paint, but that was pretty uncontested.

Or if Chandler guards Ibaka, putting Dirk on Perkins (whose pretty much useless on offense)... no way does Ibaka light up the mavs with 70+% shotting.

This was a great game. Glad I got a chance to see it. I missed the others because of work, but the Thunder/Mavs game was spared the issues that seemed to have caused so much angst in, say, the Heat/Knicks game.

The shot of the blue crowd rising in celebration with Durant's winner was awesome! It's a pity this is a first round match-up. Already sort of has the feel of a conference final.
