How about Houston waits till next off season to sign Bynum while retaining all their assets? Sounds like a better plan considering Bynum seems unhappy on the Lakers.

you sound like Jarrod, just making up stuff as you go along

When a player is happy they don't say I'll play anywhere when asked if they want to stay. But thats exactly what Bynum said.

context bro, read into the question leading to his answer

In that same report Houston was one of the teams Bynum preferred in FA.

In the Nets trade they dump J-Rich too. You're really saying Raptors pick > Lopez + 4 future 1sts...

Lopez is due for a huge contract, definitely don't want to pay that while your rebuilding, not to the mention the fact he ain't worth it. Those 4 first are next to worthless, because they will be late 20's. This isn't the NFL where 1st are meaningful, only HIGH first are worth a damn,

What are you talking about? It's only been 4 surgeries and a few bone bruises in his knees.

If the Nets had something.. they would have pulled the trade.. They need help.. Rockets don't need much help they are flexible.. Nets are not... only chip they have is Lopez.. If he signs.. and they need Kris Humpries to bend over.. I bet he won't... Houston Picks are better as well..

Nets fan forgot to note Orl now has to take Humphries too if they want to dump Jrich because Clev no longer wants to be part of the deal if the new scenario is 1on1 deal between Orl/Bk only. Yea so not only is Orl gona have to overpay Lopez they will with Humphries too? Good luck with that one.

Oh Rich, please. He went to Germany with Kobe and got it fixed up. So what that he's 25 and already succumbing to these procedures?

I'm cool with the trade, but would like a sign/trade....knees do worry me though...but if Howard recently said that he didnt want Houston, then it might be best to go with Bynum..

Wouldn't he have an agreement by now?

Let me remind you that NO ONE offered him a contract last december and was forced to sign a one year deal with the Nets.

Bynum went to Germany not because of an injury but proactive maintenance like Kobe also will do this summer. The procedure over there stimulates pain relief and growth in some cases of cartilage

Th only team I could see signing him is Phili IMO but they would want to clear Brand off the cap first. I could see him providing Brand like numbers at a much lower cost. I just think Kim K scared teams off the guy

Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine
Rockets’ position strengthened, sources say, by fact no team has yet offered Magic better pick than first-rounder via Toronto in Lowry trade

looks like the Lowry trade isn't so bad after all..

not sure if this was posted earlier:

Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
The rumored Houston, Lakers, Orlando proposal is very real. But that deal will be priority ONLY after talks with Brooklyn are dead.
