I know you're going to say McGee (though I'd disagree), but who else on the team is a head case?

Randolph, and Harrington

Just having Randolph will hurt them. Now that there's allot more bigs, and it's allot more likely that Al's minutes are going to be reduced, he's going to turn into a gigantic baby.

This is just by experiencing these players first hand, on GSW.

Man, with Jack and Landry in tow I may have to bump up the Ws.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Im pretty sure all Clip fans miss the old team but its pretty much comes down to style the team last year at full strength was a better spread the floor unit in its short time and the current bench team should b more mid range and off the dribble.

Its also not that the players we had were bad or terrible just the fact again we have a new bench with more time to gel so they should be more prepared and better by default. I wish we still had Young and Evans personally but if focused Hill and Odom should do more than fill the void in their respective ways.

Yeah, the Warriors' chances seem to be going up, especially since their beat writers tweeted that they may be looking to drop one of their non-guaranteed deals in order to keep McGuire, who was a huge plus on D and who's set on staying in Oakland if possible. (he, Landry and Rush all have the same agent)

portland has no chance of making the playoffs, and they probably should lose to facilitate their rebuild. but aldridge is a fringe top ten player right now. people here that have the blazers in the bottom three are either severely underrating aldridge or betting on an injury.

Carl Landry has the same role as David Lee (scoring PF).

The Mavs didnt miss POs last season, with a worse team than this season and a lock out shortened schedule...and they arent going to miss POs this next season. The odds are better for Dallas to get a top 4 seed this next season than to miss the playoffs.

I think their team is worse this season than last season. At the very least, the team is newly formed together, and will need a significant portion of the season to gel.

Collison>>>>>40 Year old Kidd
Mayo<<<<<<Terry ( not by much and Mayo has the potential and youth to be better than Terry last year
Brand>>>>>Odom ( Not even close here )
Kaman>>>>Deadwood ( Same as above )
Dahnty>>>>Azubuike
Crowder>>>>Cardinal
Brand>>>>>>Mahinmi ( Brand will be a better backup Center than Mahinmi )
James----Yi ( Who knows but James looked solid in summer league )
Plus 1st Rd Pick Cunningham

The Mavs got alot better !! The only people that think they will miss the playoffs do not watch Maverick Basketball.

Hell Collison/Mayo/Dahnty/Brand/Kaman plus scrubs is a playoff Team in the East !!! Now you throw in West/Roddy/Carter/Marion/Dirk/Wright/Cunningham/Crowder/James/Dojo and you a 4-6 Seed in the West .

Harrington has been anything but a head case in Denver. In fact one of the arguments I see used to keep him is that he's been a positive influence in the locker room and a pretty good mentor for the younger players.

So Randolph (I honestly don't know so I can't argue it) and McGee (very debatable) are not exactly what you would call "a lot" of headcases.

This isn't 2007.

McGee should also do better in Denver, as he's away from guys like Andray Blatche.

I don't know man, I'm looking at Basketball Reference and it doesn't seem to agree. Collison is pretty similar in production to Kidd. Kaman was really inefficient and high usage. So let's call that one a push. Mayo-Terry seems to be a push to me. Brand may actually be your biggest upgrade. You may be right about the guys on the bottom of the roster, but that's not where big changes in wins come from.
While for a team like Minnesota, they replaced Wes Johnson who was totally worthless with AK 47 who's above average. And even if he gets hurt, Budinger is average so that's still a giant step forward. Anyway, I go with:

1-OKC
2-SA
3-LAL
4-LAC
5-MEM
6-MN
7-DEN
8-DAL
9-UT
10-GS
11-POR
12-NOH
13-PHO
14-SAC
15-HOU

Mayo averaged 12/3/2.5 with the Grizz. How are those stats helping your case?
