What does that mean? Lebron James had zero post game early in his career. He worked out with Olajuwon 1 or 2 summers and became unstoppable playing with his back to the basket.

Only Kobe and Lebron really benefited from it. Everyone else saw either marginal or 0 improvement.

I don't know if I need to spend much more time on this subject. Your comment kind of speaks for itself.

Crap I meant Booker. Booker with Embiid, Noel and Simmons. I have zero interest in Russell.

Embiid hit a nice lefty jump hook over Andre Drummond tonight. Looking for the video.

Hes big and skilled enough that that hook is probably going to be automatic once he gets that kind of deep positioning.

They get any semblance of shooting around that kid once he cracks the code it's going to get ugly for a good majority of centers in the league.

LUCKILY it seems like its against Sixer code to have anything close to consistant shooters ever.

Its the law, its why we traded Kyle Korver.

also seems to be the law to never have any PGs..ever.

The only reason Okafor/Noel are being kept around at this point is injury insurance. I suspect at least 1 of them will be kept around for the next 2 years in the event Embiid can't prove he can stay healthy.

Embiid can basically be what we thought Oden could've been, and possibly better. It's all a question of if his body holds together.

Not sure about that, Okafor is still a great low post scoring option. To be able to have one of Okafor or Embiid on the floor at all times would be quite a luxury. Noel woukd be the one I would trade just so you don't have to get stuck paying him a big contract to backup Embiid while Okafor makes peanuts on a rookie deal.

Honest to god, I think he's the best center in the NBA right now. he's THAT good. a taller, bigger, young david robinson with more range and better free throw shooting.

Lmao. Dude isn't even close to being worthy of this level of praise.

I think he will be down the road but he's still going to need a couple years of seasoning. He's not the smoothest thing out there yet by any means. His talent is far ahead of his IQ and awareness right now.

He is looking like a Hakeem/Wilt/David Robinson/Ewing/Shaq/Kareem Hybrid.

Literally the only thing stopping this guy from dominating the league is rust, conditioning, and if he can stay healthy. Talent-wise and skill-wise he's showing signs of an incredible ceiling and is already producing at crazy rates given his minutes restriction. The second he's in shape and healthy enough to play 28+ mpg, he's putting up 20/10. Remains to be seen if he can get there and stay there physically though.
