I disagree. Losing Patrick Beverly is huge. No one in the Rockets team will even slow down MVP Westbrook.

Called it. Nike wants him to take down James Harden's numbers/hype just like KD did to Curry.

Actually Durant/Curry/Kawhi lost to Westbrook this year because of individual success. One of those 3 should win if you want to reward team success.

I don't know why you're bringing those 3 up. Did they all finish as a clear 2nd this past year and in 2015? It was a race between Harden and Westbrook this past year and between Harden and Curry in 2015

I brought them up to illustrate that Harden was a beneficiary of not rewarding winning this year. It would come down to Kawhi vs Durant or Curry if it was only about winning. The fact that it came down to Harden and Westbrook was because of an emphasis on individual stats in the first place.

By the way it seems like Austin Rivers has dropped the last obstacle on his way for the glory and got a cart blanche now (No)

Houston will work hard to move some moveable pieces (anderson/ariza/Gordon) to bring in a third star (probably a forward).

Nice for both. A crumbling of clippers and an awkward combination of stars on Houston. Both a lose / lose.

So what will the Clippers do next? I guess if Griffin stays they keep those guys. If he leaves I could see them turning Lou Will and Pat Beverly into 2 late 1st round picks next year, or ist that too much to ask?

CP3 opted in for 1 more year.
Wade opted in for 1 more year.
Melo can opt out next summer.
LeBron can opt out next summer.

That's a real interesting situation even though they're getting up there in age.

If LA could move Deng's and Clarkson's contracts and only sign 1 year contracts, it's quite possible they could get decent money in LA next summer.

Something fishy going on for sure, and I ain't talking about Derek hanging out with other players wives.

Why does Houston need to focus on shutting down Westbrook? Good chance they don't even meet in the playoffs

CP3 is also a first team defensive player..

I personally cannot wait to see Paul run D'Antoni's offense. I think he's going to be much better at it than Harden and will help the Rockets cut down their turnovers significantly.

The Clippers collapsing quicker than Lamar Odom in a burdel.
