Been saying a lot of what they said for awhile now for Knox. Even his mechanics comparisons I've said for awhile now. Klay Thompson-esque.

My not-so-sleeper picks are Doncic or Jaren Jackson.

In the NBA's annual survey, this year's rookie class picked Deandre Ayton and Collin Sexton as the favorites to take home the 2018-19 Rookie of the Year award.
Both Ayton and Sexton got 18 percent of the vote. Luka Doncic and Kevin Knox finished tied for third, with nine percent.VLast year, the rookies picked Dennis Smith Jr. as the favorite. Sexton will likely start the season coming off the bench behind George Hill. Ayton is expected to be the Suns starting center on opening night.

I’m surprised more people don’t have Giles. Getting to practice for a whole year with your team and focus only on your game and body versus going to school is a huge advantage.
When people say it’s not fair they have a valid point.

They don't. That sort of stuff definitely does help--but it also helps to actually play against good competition in real NCAA or euroleague games, to go full speed in practice for a year, to work out at full bore with coaches for a full year, etc. It doesn't make any sense to say that sitting for a year (and being fully injured and off your feet for months within that) is clearly a better thing than being healthy and playing, practicing, lifting, etc for a year. It's not a 'wasted' year but it's not obviously better than not playing at all. (There's also no history of that being a significant advantage, ppl just seem to be plucking one or two examples that had good rookie seasons after sitting out and ignoring the others.)

The Kings' front court is rather crowded.
